I'm sorry, but I must have missed it. How is this proof of Bigfoot and why it's real? Seems like we are exactly back where we started.

There has been hairy babies born that I know of.. so why is it so impossible?
I do not think it would be so strange if there really was a bigfoot or two walking around .......... or a unknown spieces of an animal/human.

I don't understand what is so unlikely about bigfoot. They might be totaly real. We have samples of their hairs, multiple sightings from arround the world, and even an unexplained video footage. Also they are not biologicaly impossible. Even Talon believes in them...

On the one hand, I have trouble believing in Bigfoot simply because with all the research, all the expeditions, and all the "evidence", we still have absolutely nothing in the way of proof that it exists. Zoology is a bit of a stickler in this regard; unlike most other sciences, it pretty much requires a live specimen.
On the other hand, despite my casual acceptance that the film could easily be duplicated with 1967 technology, I can't get over one little thing: Why would Patterson use a FEMALE bigfoot for his prank?

of course it's real
there's a whole binch of physical evidence how could there not be a Big Foot on earth. Big Foot really exists. believe it or not.

It is extremely hard to identify with 100 percent accuracy what giant footprint came from what giant animal, which is the reason why, after so many years and so many footprints we still have experts shrugging their shoulders. Zoology, unlike many other sciences, pretty much requires a specimen. Theoretical existence is nice for chats and such, but simply not sufficient for an official recognition of an animal.

The best attempt so far to recreate the footage using 1967 costume technology - Pic #2. The third pic is frame 72 discussed in the article below.
Q: Why can't it be done? Why can't anyone accurately recreate the "costume" used in the Patterson footage?
A: It's not a man in a costume ...

First of all the recreation actually looks more real than the Patterson video IMO. Also whoever said that was the best attempt at recreating the guy in the Patterson video needs glasses. I've seen the apes in Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes (2001). They look more real than any film apes I've ever seen. First of all the hair is red in the recreation. Now that I look at it in the first pick here, I can see where the costume separates between the leg and backside. Looks like you can see the peices.
The Patterson video just doesn't do it for me. The ape is too inconsistent with what we know about apes.

Now I see something else. In the last picture on the right, you can see a line between the shoulder and the torso. It's a pretty striaght line too.
