Again, im not sure if this should be in this thread..or the Government Conspiracies thread..but since it was an experience I had TONIGHT..I will post it here original.gif

Me, my cousin (Sanaz) and my friend (Cadence) decided to research around a FreeMason temple..or "lodge." This is not the Grand Lodge of Tennessee, but I am sure we will research that one and other temples (lodges) in the area as well. Anyhow..the whole setting is just strange. The actual building sits very very high off of the ground on concrete stilts. No windows in the building, strange statues guarding the building. We were going to take pictures but the occurances just freaked us out too much..we will get some later if anyone is interested.

Behind the lodge are some thick woods with a few visible paths leading deeper into the woods. We followed two of them..and found nothing. The third which was a bit more concealed was a little harder to follow..

Brush, leaves, and sticks were covering the entrance..but once you got past those it was a clear path. We walked on the path for sometime before we heard some obviously human cat noises..squeaking, etc. All around us were strange mounds that looked like burial mounds, not exactly sure what they were though. The cat noises scared us but we figured it was just someone in the apartments across the street calling for their animal...
All the sudden the porch light that we could see from afar went off..and the noises and rustling from the distance continued.

We followed the path farther and farther until we came to a perfectly round clearing..with an entry way and the rest was surrounded by trees, even the tops of the trees cluttered the way so that you couldnt see the sky..at this point we were freaked out so we decided to go back.

But there was an eerie red light coming from under the lodge so before we left we decided to check it out. My friend Cadence was looking at it and reporting what he saw. While he was talking Sanaz and I noticed someone peering at us from the bushes..I grabbed Cadences arm and said "THIS IS NOT THE BUILDING WE ARE LOOKING FOR." (LoL is that SO not obvious? wink2.gif ) And he realized that we were being watched...we scurried back to the car and left..

Does anyone find this strange? What was the clearing? The mounds? The red light? The person watching us and trying to scare us away? Any information would help alot!!

Thats very interesting. I myself at one time wanted to join a freemasonry to see what it was about. Not only that but a lot of famous people are or were freemasons. Everyone knows Mozart was one of them. I had also heard though that they have a dark following but I could be wrong. Heard stuff about sacrifices as well. The lodge we have in the area is the same almost as you described. no windows. strange sybols all around the borders of the building. but, no statues. I'd like to see some pics of the ones you saw if its possible.
wunarmdscissor
Thats an interesting story.

I wouldnt mess an snoop about mason's business tho, they dont appreciate that kind of thing(if you know what i mean).

I would keep away from those woods it couldve just been a weirdo stalking you and your friends.

i<3BillMurray
so were you trespassing?
i know i'd be pissed off if someone came round to my place and started poking round in the bushes

Urielsfire
i<3BillMurray makes a good point. Since it sounds like you were trespassing, I wouldn't be surprised if the man you saw watching you was just trying to decide whether or not to call the police.
mufasa
What part of TN?
PrettyAndCorrupt
Im gonna edit this post because what I typed before sounded very ignorant to me. Anyhow..
No, we were not trespassing. All Masonic lodges are open to the public and there are signs around the buildings that sayso. If they think otherwise, perhaps they should take the advertisments down.

We did not have to go through any obstacles to get to the lodge. No fences, no barriers..just an opening and a parking lot.

If there would have been any sign that we should NOT and had NO right to be there, I wouldnt have been there. I have been to other lodges around the area..all are basically the same. Claiming to be open to all, etc.

Behind the lodge, where the woods are..they connect way way way back into a residental area. Im sure most residents do not use the woods..but they are not makeshift or manmade woods just for the lodge. There were also no signs/barriers/obstacles/etc keeping anyone willing out of the woods.

If I offended anyone by visiting the lodge..then perhaps you should take it upon yourself next time to leave my posts.
Thanks original.gif

Mufasa..its in Nashville. Its not the Grand Logde..that one is in downtown Nashville. (Surprise..no gates there either!)
There are three I know of here in Nashville, one in Hendersonville original.gif
Urielsfire
Sorry if I sounded judgemental. Once you clarify, it's clear that you weren't doing anything wrong.

You guys get such cool Masonic lodges . Our's just look like the old town halls with the Masonic lodge symbol and lodge number on the outside .. original.gif Oh and carparking thumbsup.gif
PrettyAndCorrupt
The one I went to is cool...
The one downtown is alot cooler. Up until recently I had NO idea what a Mason was until I found out that on my fathers side of the family..pretty much everyone are Masons. I thought that only upper class white men were allowed into the "club."

Anyway the Mason lodge downtown is a HUGE all concrete building. No windows on any floor but the first..and I would say there are at least 8 floors. And all the windows are barred. If you look into them its all pitch black concrete walls.

Freaky.

So why where you looking around a free mason lodge anyways.
The reason why for no windows is cause thier a secret organization with thier own private veiws. The only way to tell if someone is in it is if that ahve a freemason ring
PrettyAndCorrupt
We were looking around..most likely because we wanted to. That is the reason most people do things.

Isnt no windows against firecode?
GBMMRRRR
AS far as I am concerned, You are doing right by me. please keep me/us informed as to anything more . Besides , If I thought you were being a naughty girl at any time, I would just have to spank you. I get a feeling though that you have been in that position before. thumbsup.gif

I do plan on investigating (heh) some other temples(lodges) around my area. Especially the main lodge..something very eerie about that place. So I will keep things posted.
Babs
I gotta say I am interested in what those lodges are all about. The 'Freemasons' subject came up on CNN a few days ago, it seems that many people are interested in what goes on behind their doors. Why all the secrecy? Are they doing something they shouldn't? devil.gif

Keep us posted and see what you can find out about the building and the grounds....but, for heavens sake, don't get into any trouble!
ladytaray
I would like to know if anyone has seen a masonic lodge building with no windows, possibly two or three stories high, grayish in color, and black like statues in front. I am located in TN that is why I am asking. I have a very odd and crazy reason for asking. I had a dream about a building a few years ago, and inside I saw something that really bothered me. Black walls inside, evil looking things..which after some research I found on masoic web sites, this was before I even knew what the masons were. I am trying to find this building if it exists. Please email me if you have seen anything that might fight this in anyway.

I honestly had never heard much about these RPG dorks since before last year.

Now, from my intensive (harf) study of their organization I have come to the conclusion that they are harmless. As I said, RPG dorks who wear hoods, cloaks, gauntlets and give themselves silly titles...hmm, remind you of anyone? *cough*kkk*cough* tongue.gif

They're branches (each state and country and lodge pretty independant from each other) who focus most of their time on charity and trying to make the world a better place.

To even be a member you have to be a pretty heavy Christian which rules out any kind of paganism or Satan worshipping.

PS. to the poster who started this discussion (I'm too lazy to scroll):

Why don't you/didn't you just go up and knock on the front door and ask them? What are they going to do?

You haven't studied enough of their orginization it seems. Freemasons readily accept all religions, it doesn't matter if your christian, hindu, buddhist or even a satanist, as long as you have faith in some type of god or godlike being your allowed to be a member. Its the atheists that they frown on...

Me and my x-girlfriend used to frequent a mason lodge, Its actully directly behind me on those pictures I posted of me skating. I'll put up one with the bottom half on it
Cpt.InsaneO
I don't think you have to have any religious belief other than in a higher power.
just because they are secret does not mean that are bad scary ect.
alot of my family had been involved with them. they are not what you would call scary
people.

This is a quote from their official site:

Freemasonry requires that Candidates hold a belief in the Divine Creating God Who is Creator of the Universe and Giver of its life. The Masonic Ritual explains and teaches that Faith in the Divine is given expression in the life of the man who acknowledges his dependence on God by invoking His aid on all his undertakings, and who prays to the Almighty Creator for guidance to live faithfully in His service.

You don't have to be christian to believe in or pray to a "God", or supreme being.
Not once does it say anything about christ.

Infact, I can wage a weeks earnings that in freemasonry there is absolutely no mention of christ or the new testament.
If you study it a bit closer than you have, you will find it is based on certain events in the old testament, surrounding the building of Soloman's temple.

Okie dokie, I just thought "the divine creating God" who is "the creator of the universe" would have been the Chrisitian God. Nevermind then.

nah, it's lucifer... the light, bearer of the seal of perfection, the wise, the beautiful, star of the morning, son of the dawn, walks among the stones of fire, etc... same being.

My grampa used to be a mason and took me with him a few times to the lodge. But no one was allowed in the back part or the upstairs of the lodge. It too had no windows upstairs either. I remember asking him about it and he just shook his head and said "you wouldn't understand". He never said much more than that. I always thought it was kind of strange, so I aske my grandma and she said she didn't have any clue about what went on, she wasn't "allowed" to ask. But the freemasons are a very, very old socitey and there is little known about them to the outside world

Madruk is the most powerful god ever! rolleyes.gif

It is funny that people think only christian believe in god but yet say that Buddha is a god to Buddhist.

Freemasonary are just full of freak who need a life. They are like a 6 years old who want to have secret that no one else know... What is the point of keeping everything so secretive?

Exactly!

My dad was a freemason and he said nothing really goes on. Just a social gathering
