Ok so some may recall me asking for some other names for bigfoot which i thank you for them, anyways here is the finished copy for the term paper i said i was doing, this is only for biology which our professer asked us to choose a species that isnt known or isnt well known, so i chose bigfoot, he isnt known only through the media, books, eye wittness, and so forth but no living or dead proof. so this is the finished version, please tell what you think, this decides if i pass or fail...

Bigfoot study term paper
Through the years a creature has risen to our ears and eyes. We have seen footage on him, we may have read stories and eye witness accounts, though we havent found him. Through much study and findings there is a good possibility that this creature does exist but where. In china there have been remains recovered out of caves of giant ape like creatures. Larger then a man, larger then a gorilla, though what is it. The skull is similar to ours though it has very large canines, humans do not have canines. Most apes have these canines in the front teeth as these, though this creature is much too large to be a human or a ape of any kind.

In ancient text there is mentions of a large ape like creature that walks upright like a man but is completley covered in hair. This is something apperently non human. Though fraud of any sort in this day would not be easy to pull off. For reason that costumes of this extent does not exist. Though if remain were found in asia how can we have sightings in north america. If many will recall a great ice bridge that formed from ancient asia to north america called the bearing straight that ancestor of the native american crossed to come to north america, how can the theory that the creature now named gigantus had crossed be dismissed. This ia a strong theory that this ape like creature could have crossed across it.

Though a video that was made public in the sixties, most know it as the patterson footage set something into play. What was set into play is known as the bigfoot rush. This is when this creature made its media debut. Though new advancements in technology has led us to see that the facial expression of the creature actually moves. Most costumes with mouth areas do not move. It would require hollywood effects to pull of something as this. Though just around this time the movie planet of the apes made it's debut in theatres. Though would someone spend so much on a costume to create something like this. This still brings questions to many.

In this day and time anything can be created with computer technologies, this will make any new footage possible to be proven a fact. So any development in the findings of bigfoot. Though the creature known a bigfoot has made his name very apperent. Though if he is known as bigfoot, the yeti, yowie yowie, the big hairy man, the big one. He could be out there.

Now my professer said he did'nt want exact facts he only wanted oppinions though we now have to do a totally factual paper. Though thats a bit down the road...

In my most humble opinion bigfoots are trolls, as per the legend of "Grendel and Beowulf". In this legend, or at least a couple of versions, Grendel's parent was killed by a group of humans in Scandinavia and he "Grendel" , the troll, slaughtered the perpetrators and the company they kept . From this legend we learn that this is a big scary species, they are highly intelligent, and if you hunt or kill one of them or their family, they will come for you.
There is an account of some hunters in the deep south in the early 1700 or 1800's who encountered one of these at night and returned with a larger group of hunters to hunt and they were slaughtered almost to a man. These creatures are always said to be solitary, same physical description, and highy intelligent. As far as their reaction to being hunted goes, it's actually a wise course of action, if someone hunts you or your family, come after them , slaughter every one of them, and eventually they will surmise as a species that hunting you is an unwise decision. It says in the bible that they who hate God will be destroyed and their children to the seventh generation. So this line of thinking is based on very old ways indeed. Well enough to get you started if you choose to study up on this line of thinking, look up trolls and see how legends of them compare, any matches?

u can equate trolls with bigfoot. troll legends were based on people with genetic mutations, disorders. medicine wasnt advanced then like it is today

Nice paper. What Grade are you in though??? I'm in Grade nine and for me that seems kinda short?? How long was it supposed to be??

But if that meets the required length, then good job.

It could be alittle longer if you have the time. Get some extra marks most likley.

My freshman year we had to do something similar, and I regret writing about what I did. If I were you, I would honestly pick something more tangible to work with. (I wrote about aliens... and though I got good marks I recently read it over and deeply regret going to the lengths I did with it. I think my teacher looked at me a bit differently from that point on--and I'm not so sure it was a good thing.) Think really hard about it, about whether or not this is really something you want your teacher to be looking at.

Edit: I would also suggest adding loads more length, three paragraphs won't do for a term paper for any grade. My paper for freshman year wound up being longer than six pages. I would at least try to make it to two, if you can, use as much fact and as many examples as possible to prove your points.

Second edit: Started to actually read it, and I noticed lots of grammar mistakes and punctuation mishaps. Do a good, thorough read through of it, regardless of it being a rough draft or what have you. Capatilize things like "Asia" and "North America", don't forget comas, and remember that "then" describes direction ("turn left, then go straight", "read the book, then do the essay", "water the plant, then set it in the sun") and "than" denotes comparison ("his head is bigger than a watermelon", "my tv is bigger than yours", "you can do better than that"). Simple things.

Bering Street is spelled wrongly. And how about this large canine or tooth? Compared to what? How much larger than what?

Also your very frequent use of the word 'though' is plain ugly.

What are the facts, numbers, estimates - and what is your interpretation and opinion about these things?

Humans DO have canine teeth. But they're not as pronounced as in some other primates.

You could have been a bit nicer about that, you know. I don't think being brash is helpful in the least, especially when it comes to school papers.
