Full Of Secrets
Im not in the mood to deal with skeptics, So please keep your wise comments to yourself.

I need some advice from anyone who might possibly be able to help me.
I have a friend who is inhabited by a corrupt pucca, and thats why he is so messed up
he knows this but he doesnt want to get rid of it.
How can I convince him that its for the better?
I dont want anything bad to really happen to him, but this creature will be the downfall of him.

What is a pucca?

HN

Its an animal spirit of the sorta. hmm lets see. How do i explain it.

Their really mischievous and usually in the form of a shaggy horse.
But the corrupt ones should just be killed because they are very harmful.

Sorry, its hard to explain.

That's what I'd like to know. I did some searching, and couldn't find any sort of spirit/legend by the name pucca. All I got was the cartoon.
BigDaddy_GFS
Perhaps this is what the OP refers to...

QUOTE
Variants: phouka, puca
No fairy is more feared in Ireland than the pooka. This may be because it is always out and about after nightfall, creating harm and mischief, and because it can assume a variety of terrifying forms.

The guise in which it most often appears, however, is that of a sleek, dark horse with sulphurous yellow eyes and a long wild mane. In this form, it roams large areas of countryside at night, tearing down fences and gates, scattering livestock in terror, trampling crops and generally doing damage around remote farms.

Pooka are physical creatures that by definition cannot inhabit anyone. Tell your friend to visit a psychiatrist or another kind of ordinary counselor.

So this pucca is like a demon?

There are three things I can think of. One, do a family and friends confrontation / intervention, that could give him the will and desire to toss it out. Two, get him to see a professional councilor. This could also get him to confront the problem and chase out his demon. Three, go see a priest or pastor, or other holy man, he will help him to chase out the demon. If he will not go get help, I don't think he will get better. The best thing you can do is convince him to get help.

Tapeworms are physical beings, yet do they not inhabit people? We're clearly dealing with a tapeworm pucca, which are among the worst kind. Is your friend dropping weight mysteriously? Vomitting, or dragging his bottom on the carpet? Your vet can give you some drops or something.

lol.
The spirit of a pucca Inhabits his body.
And thanks for all of your suggestions. Im working on it. :]

Just a question. How do you really know its a pucca?
Undeadskeptic
I love how you added the neat little warning against skeptica at the start. That was real cute, really warmed me up to you straight away you know? no.gif

Anyway. You give us close to no information at all about your friend or the Pucca. Please, in detail, tell us how he got the Pucca, how his behaviour has changed, what the Pucca has done to him, and overall just a lot more information than you've given us. Prehaps he is just tricking you. Or maybe he is using the Pucca as an excuse to cover up somthing else that may have changed his behaivour, like recreational drugs or having a new girlfriend. If he is a teen, these things are much more likely than a Pucca.

Okay well.

my friend is a guy, Im not entirely sure how long he has had this creature, but for more then a year is my bet.
He tells me how everything is contradicting, Because he gets alot of blood lust. Wants to do really harmful stuff, but he doesnt allow himself even though he wants too. He doesnt want to hurt any of his friends.
we know it is a pucca, because we went through his mind and found it.
Just to make sure he wasnt lying besides the fact there are many other ways to find if someone is lying or not. but we wanted to be completely sure.

He says he wants to fix things but he doesnt realize that we believe its the pucca doing all this to him, and he wont listen.
Its why im asking for advice.

Besides throwing him into an insanity clinic.

P.s. I just didnt want smart butt comments like, they dont exist, so forth.

He wants to harm others? Has he always been like this or is this only recent? How old is he?

we know it is a pucca, because we went through his mind and found it.

WHAT? Please explain how he 'went through his mind' and found a strange creature. Brain surgery or what?

Just to make sure he wasnt lying besides the fact there are many other ways to find if someone is lying or not. but we wanted to be completely sure.

So, does he believe it is the Pucca?

Besides throwing him into an insanity clinic.

No, that is not ideal.

P.s. I just didnt want smart butt comments like, they dont exist, so forth.

Ok.

Does your friend do any drugs? Magic Mushrooms and other organics in particular?
HerNibs
I'm going to ask what I am sure is an obvious question.

Has he seen a Dr. and ruled out any type of physical or mental causes?

Full Of Secrets
Okay well.

Its called meditating, then entering someone elses mind, yes its possible, with lots of practice.

He doesnt think its because of the pucca but the pucca has been inside of him for so long I do not beleive he can realize it.
He tried drugs, after all these blood lusts and such. To kill the feelings, but it didnt work, so he stopped.
He didnt drink.

He is 16.

my friend who went through his mind (who I trust with my lfe and beleive him with my whole being and soul) says he is just a straight out bad person. And needs help. The pucca just makes things worse.

Yet I beleive if he still has the ability to hold back so not to harm his friends, I do beleive there is some good in him that with help, we can draw out.
But only he can get rid of that thing in him.
I just need to convince him of it.

Well..No, as the only two things which can beat a Ninja are vikings and mutated turtles.

This cause seem familiar...
I know somone that have had the same stuff. A puca like thing that the person did not want to leave.. he is dead now. Something with a vain in the brain.

Well then why do you need our help.

Take him to a doctor, he might have a tumor or somthing. He doesn't have a Pucca, don't worry. We can't always understand things people do but there's always a reason in it somewhere, wether they know it or not.

He is a teen, bout my age. Hes going through things that are natural as a teenager. A monster is not behind this.

Except in The Joker. Grrrr.

Even if played by Johnny Depp they fail after three movies.

If you say so.
But I know your just trying to help.
A doctor would probably help alot.
But I really beleive the pucca is there.
Simply because I just. know it is.

Q: How many psychologists does it take to unscrew a lightbulb?

A: None, the lightbulb has to want to be unscrewed first.

If he doesn't want to get rid of whatever is causing the problem there's really nothing you can do about it. Except be a good friend of course.

Its only natural I suppose.

you're really important to him right now. he may not know it, even you may not know it, but he needs you as a friend. does he have a girlfriend/boyfriend? he also really needs them. does he know you're talking about him online as well?

I honestly think that he is normal and is just growing up.

learning to cope with burning rage, and dark thoughts is part of the process...its what we do which defines us.

If he is feeling frustrated at the moment there may be some deep underlying issue for which counselling is the best option, since he may be able to talk through with a counsellor things he cant talk through with friends and family.

you have had some good replies in this thread, it is true that you friends are really important to him right now, if you can stick with him through the hard times then he is a lucky young man.

the entity you think has possessed him is puck (like in midsomer night's dream), based on a celtic spirit called Pwca round my parts.....he is not bloodthirsty in that way, naughty and mischevious yes....downright dangerous sometimes....but not bloodthirsty.

I dont think he is possessed, just having a difficult time with his feelings.

There's no way he can know for sure, because everything that presents it's self with this being is also the same manifestations of many mental health disorder, organic brain injuries/disabilities, and drug abuse.

Puberty can be rough. So perhaps this is simply the Pubscence Fairy having a laugh at the kid's expense.
