The development of our present global climate & its bias for the accumulation of wealth in the hands of a privileged minority, to the continuous impoverishment of the masses, has prepared the way for a totalitarian world regime under a global dictatorship.
The plaguorous power of an amoral political bureaucracy which supervises the everyday activities of the individual en mass as if in a factory, has diminished our capacity to think independently & has greatly retarded our ability to interact & co-operate with our fellow human beings. By installing the neural linguistic precept that, ‘everyone is your enemy, and you can’t trust anybody’, the individual is left but one recourse...to trust the government.

Why would the government be interested in controlling us? What would they want us to do for them that we aren't already doing?

stop trying to win people over with big words and ideological nonsence. you are just another product of our underground, someone who thinks that they are a victim, when in reality, there is no one to blame but yourself.

Those last two replies just serve to reinforce the validity of the first. Yes, we are already sufficiently doing the bidding of the government, and yes, there ARE products of the underground who, yes, don't have anyone to blame MORE than the victims of the government themselves who have gladly offered sheep-like, mindless cooperation to do their bidding wherever it might lead the American people because they have been conned to believe that to not do so amounted to the epitomy of anti-patriotism.

Riiight...and your solution is, what? Anarchy? You think deciding to live in a representative democracy is the same as mindlessly following some super-organized 1984 government entity? I follow them willingly because in exchange they offer me the things that I am unwilling or unable to do myself, such as make roads, organize airtravel, and negotiate with foreign governments.

I see alot of nice buzz words, but what exactly does that little rant have to do with anything?
Can you tell me a time in history when the masses havent been controlled by a authoratarian figure?
Even if we still lived in packs or herds we'd still be subject to the dominance of the alpha male, this is just on a grander scale, since you're obviously so uber smart as to be aware of the situation, it isnt really affecting you so stop moaning and go get a job.

The people around who like to rant like that simply aren't getting their way. They don't like the truth so they make up their own. And they like to pretend to be smarter than everyone else to prove some sort of point. After all, the Unabomber was a genius too, right? I don't think so.

Well, technically he was; I think he was 130 I.Q., but hey, intelligence is only enough to tell you it's raining. You need common sense to get in out of the rain and not blame the government for getting wet.

Well, it's not like the government is perfect. I don't know about total anarchy, but I for one do believe most Americans need to stop acting like sheep and start actively taking part in the democratic process. It's when people start letting the government make decisions for them instead of directing the government that things go wrong.
