Hmmm after awhile it seems as though the man obviously was a paratrooper who shot his parachuete with a gun on accident and fell on a medow and hit a rock and died

Yours seems a little less bizarre though. Shooting a bullet-sized hole in a parachute wouldn't cause a person to plunge to their doom.

no, but if the bullet severred some of the wires and he fell to his death as the chute crumpled, both are possible...i'd sure wish we could hear if we were right or not...is colorless still online right now or am I going to have to wait til tomorrow?

You are correct.
What's above most meadows? Mountains. The man shot at something, causing an avalanche to occur, which killed him.
And sorry about holding out on the answer. It's just too good of a riddle to give the answer away.

Well, the Package was riddled with C4 explosives. He was trying to escape after parachuting into Cambodia and planted the wires all over Dictator Raphiels hut. So, when he walked to the center of the field, a beebing sound went off determining the time left for explosion, then he died as he looked down in shock in fear. It blew the skin from his face mostly and burned his nylon suit to his skin. Unidenifiable and Nixon denies any relation to the operation or man.
