I find it kinda hard to believe that a man would take a bullet to up his political sympathy or status. that's an awful lot to pay to be re-elected... i mean, imagine if the bullet strayed a bit up and to the right, the guy would be dead...at the same time... i havent seen anyone explain a reason for the guy to be shot, did someone have a grudge or something? huh.gif

This is reminiscent of the conspiracy rumors for the United States election of George W. Bush.

Yeah, also Gore had dead people voting for him in illinois, but bush didnt want to open another can of worms so lets just drop that entire subject eh?

Conspiracists also believe that before the next US presidential election, Osama Bin Laden will be "captured" helping raise popularity for President Bush.

That's no conspiracy theory, just smart campaigning by bush tongue.gif despite that, it would be a great national security mistake if there are special forces traking Osama and have him cornered but are not acting now...what if he gets out of their sight, what if they lose him? of course we would never know cause the gov't wouldnt tell us, but...it does frighten me dontgetit.gif

That sounds a bit more Hollywood than real, though. It is far more likely that the assassin was a joe schmoe who thought the president was stealing his girlfriend than a professional internationaly-wanted hitman.

Plus if the assasin did miss im sure he or she will fire a few more shots until he gets it.
