You can't be serious, you are saying that you wouldn't mind if the gov watched everything you did read you emails, listened to your personal phone calls?

Why should it bother me?

They cant physically man hundreds of thousands of telephone calls and sift through billions of e-mails being made every day, It'll be a machine monitoring it and if it recognises a word like "bomb" or "Bin laden" then it'll start recording.
Since I dont generally make alot of phone calls discussing terrorist activities Im not going to get all self conscious and high and mighty, because I'd rather anti-terrorism units be able to do their job rather then be able to say "I WUB WOO HUNNY BUNNY" without it being monitorerd.

And I'm sure you'd complain like hell if and when a terrorist attack happens and the government had been doing nothing to try and prevent it.
