Thanks DR
DOE - C Red Badge = Standard Clearence restricted to general areas.
DOE - L Orange Badge = Food Prep and general services. Restricted access to any area outside of a set parameter
DOE - Q Green Badge = DOE's Top secret clearence. Select areas unrestricted access. All camo dudes at Nevada Test Site, Nellis bombing range, Tonapah Test Range, Indian Springs Air Base, Yucca Mountain Project and a few others in and around Nevada have this designation. (BTW camo dudes at NTS and other areas are contract security guards from Wackenhut security.)
It is interesting to note that most badges of the DOE come equiped with Dosimeters.

| These are the US Governments Security Clearance Codes. They are assigned to various individuals who require a minor to top secret security clearance from various governement agencies. Many people at UM may find it interesting as they have never seen the actual codes before. These codes are referenced in many a black ops or conpiracy topics. |

Great, thanx for the explanation...now i understand why this is quite interesting
