Time Control, who needs machines for it when you can do it with your mind? At least I did. Evidence: My personal experience:
Anyway, I’m a martial Artist in Shaolin Kung fu, but I merge it together with a professional boxing style. So it was my 2nd match, I was the state kickboxing champion for Louisiana, and basically the match was at the end of the month, and all up until a day before I trained my hardest, and it damn well hurt. (Physically) The day before the match I meditated the majority of the day, literally, did nothing but keep a bottle of water next to me and meditate in and out. What technique did I use; Visualization. I visualized exactly how I wanted to execute my techniques and what I wanted to do to my opponent. For hours until at the end of the day I actually knew absolutely that this was going to happen, and I bragged like I knew omnisciently it was going to happen. Another Technique, Emptiness. After visualizing all of what I wanted to happen, I made my mind go empty and just be, for hours. Then the day of the match was finally here, I felt, how would I say it, all powerful and extremely more elusive than I usually feel in the ring. So we put our gloves on and the ref made us touch gloves, and I didn’t even feel the need to touch gloves, I touched his gloves so soft you would have thought I was a fag. So we went to our corners and the bell rang and I immediately made it to the middle of the ring so I can have control of where he goes, then after my opponent started to swing, and man! I tell you I’m a skeptic to some extent but I saw all his movements in slow motion. Everything, I knew when he was going to begin to swing or think about swinging, I felt I had a direct connection with his mind that I read it. Every single move he tried to execute failed horribly said the crowd and coach. His punches I saw them slow motion where I had enough time to duck, kicks I saw them so clearly I had enough time to simply move away and leave him kicking my after shadow which doesn’t exist. So he then tried to make me attack him because I was doing the countering, I’m a counter boxer style, so I went to him and like Bruce Lee said when he expands I contract and when he contract I expand. I went to him and was moving fluidly and fainting for him to throw and he did just that and I saw it all slow and then finally after getting battered by me he decided to go back to his first attacks, and then that’s when I planted a thrusting side kick with the help of a fake jap right in his solar plexus. I tell you if you would have been watching you would have been amazed in disbelief and I’m so skinny like Bruce, and the guy was actually muscular. My coach told me that the guy never laid a hand on me at all literally. The match only lasted 1 round, that’s it!
But after the match I decided to do some reading, and I read up on what happened to me and the state of mind I achieved was called, "Mushin" or No mind, or some call the mind of God. I read up on it and found out how to control it when I’m fighting, and basically all I do is change my state of my to like being neutral, thoughtless, and when I spar or fight, I kicks in and feels great! I’m totally in the moment! If you guys want you can go read up on it.........boom
Read up on Mushin.......
