Jamaica Inn, Cornwall's legendary Coaching House which has stood high on Bodmin Moor for over four centuries. Mr Potter's Museum of Curiosity, and the recreation of Daphne du Maurier's study are here. Immortalised in Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name, the Jamaica Inn was originally known as the New Inn. The name was changed in honour of a member of the local Rodd family, who held a post in Jamaica for some years, before finally returning to the Bodmin Moor he loved.
