The astral body is able to travel faster than light, and can arrive at destinations instantly or take the snails pace at the speed of thought,so journeys to other planets, plains and dimensions are possible if one learns how to use the astral body.

also called :the double, the subtle body, the dream body etc

cant help but wonder where the hell this came from...lol no offense buddy....neway by astral body do you mean aliens?

An astral body is a spirit body, isn't it?

Answering all your questions,

Trying Astral Projection --Go ahead try it.

"In astral projection the conscious mind leaves the physical body and moves into the astral body. The astral body is one of seven subtle bodies we all have."

"Some people can astral project naturally. Others are afraid to leave the physical body and never are able to astral project. An alternative approach is remote viewing."

Thought travels, potentially, at the speed of light. As it is bioelectrical signals sent through a very small area, it could technically do so. Think of a light switch.

It is possible, in the Theory of Realitivity, to go FASTER than the speed of light. Slower you can do too. However you cannot go exactly the speed of light. That is impossible.

That's why physics can make people cry. happy.gif

Ignore Physics some people know better.

if light entering a black hole is accelerated due to the effects of gravity then i assume it moves faster than ordinary light.

read Casteneda on controlling dreaming(art of dreaming)
and also Sylvan muldoon and Richard Carrington, also Munroe is good.
The Proposer
in reply to tat2netty try the books i suggest above.

yes ive accomplished it many times but find it hard to control the astral body.

What happened? Where did you go?
The Proposer
you can visit who or wher you more or less like,a man projecting himself to a woman seems the easiest, dont forget tho you are not more aware in the astral but less as you have limited faculties for percieving this material world, things can appear rather dull and gray but you do meet other numerous entities,it is recomended to burn a good quality insence and offer it to god each day,as this will keep demonic influences away(this is not superstition),I can only project when im sleeping i think everybody projects they just dont become aware of the dream body,i first became aware on a freezing cold night when my phtsical was wrapped up very warm,i suppose the cold air shocked the subtle body and woke it up.
I travel a lot also(physically),and it is said that the subtle body gets familiar with a regular sleeping place different places each night proved this to me as my astral would return automatically to the old sleeping place.

In Castenedas ,Art Of Dreaming the sorcerer Don Juan advises him that the first step to control dreaming is to find your hand when dreaming.remember that.

read these books and the others i have mentioneed,as there are some crap books by people who do not appear to have actually projected.

actually the astral body does not travel faster than the speed of light, nor can anything else of the universe. Why? because c (speed of light) is literally a constant. Speed is relative. right now the earth is moving. THerefore you are moving as well. But the keyboard is not moving away from you because it is moving at the same speed as you. You can "catch up" to the keyboard before it moves away from you. So the relative speed of the keyboard and yourself is 0, but the actual speed is virtually incalculatable. Light, however, is impossible to catch up to. Even if you case after a photon, both its speed and its speed relative to you will remain unchanged. You can never ever ever catch up to a photon and thus cannot travel at light speed because if you did, the photon would either have a relative speed of 0 or it would have to accelerate to at least 2 times c, making the speed of light change which never happens. And that's Einstein's special relativity in a nutshell. Confused? Well it's a confusing topic. But that's the way things are. BTW what i just said was more or less verbatim from a book i'm reading on the topic, not something i just concocted in my head just now as some people often accuse me.
However, the astral body is a higher dimension object, so it can travel in other dimensions and thus take shortcuts from one place to the next. Furthermore, the astral body appears to have a greater control over energy fields, and since energy fields never fade out entirely according to the Chaos theory, one can, in an astral form, possibly sense out things that are unimaginabley far away.

Yea it sounds funky, but its all true. I dabbled in the astral projection a couple of times b4. Afriend suggested it after telling me of his experience he had while haveing a real sleep-meaning he had been sleep deprived and restless. He finally went to bed early one night and tried it and I forgot what he told me. But 2 days later I tried it. Don't know if it was what you call 'astral projection'. But I know lay there in bed and I was totally clear minded. I stayed alert as possible as to when my body was slipping away to sleep which was hard cuz usually I knock out. lol. But right when I knew I was baout to knock out into sleep I stepped forward and imagined I was on a familiar street I knew. I was in my car. But it was now a 'dream' and I could control it. if I wanted to turn right I did. and any other direction as well. It was cool.
I was trying to get to a bar that I knew...lol...(yup laugh it up) ...but then I lost it.
and fell asleep. But is that the same thing? If it is I could do amazing stuff in my dreams. Make my own worlds or try and go to others. Or maybe a super models pad... tongue.gif

No, it is called lucid dreaming.
