I've noticed recently with so many members and so many threads covering so many topics, that many subjects get repeated.

As far as I know the only way to see what has been posted before is to scroll through the pages which can take ages.

Would it be better if there was a thread index, that could be organised by catagory/subject/alphabetically so someone wishing to post a topic could easily check if it had been posted before and save us all from repeating ourselves repeating ourselves??

There isn't an index of such, but the search feature will allow you to find anything that you are looking for. To find all the threads about Bigfoot for example, enter 'Bigfoot' in the search box, select 'any date..' from the 'search posts from' drop down box, then click 'perform the search'.

That'll bring up all relevant forum threads without having to search through the entire Cryptoozology section looking for them.
