Dr.Brain
Humans were made by GOD ......

Who exactly made GOD ???? :s3
odinsupreme
Your question can only be answered if the one who answers believes in God.

Odin
PurpleStuart
God's Mum?
Kismit
Wow . then who is gods Dad? hmmmmmmmmm freaky ..

odinsupreme
Ok, so now God has parents, but who were the parents of the parents of god and who were the parents of the parents of the parents of god? And who were the parents of the parents of the parents of the parents of god etc. :s04

Odin
PurpleStuart
Now your just being picky :P
Kira
;D I will just refer all to Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe.................................

And when I unpack my books I will post the quote :s2
Kismit
My Favorite line in the Hitchhikers guide series goes something like this.

apparently going into Hypredrive is just like being drunk.

so whats so bad about getting drunk.

hmmm ,

Ask a glass of water ;D
Mentalcase
It hasn't even been proven that God ever existed, nor has it been proven that he made us. So then the question changes over to this:

Humans were made by the Universe...

What exactly made the Universe ???? :s3
Kismit
The Chicken.......um no maybe it was the egg ..
and just maybe Dr Brain should be asking . WHAT made God ? and Mentalcase should be asking . WHO made the universe ?
Perhaps God started out as an ameba in a puddle and just needed something to do with his spare time after he evolved ?
This thread is trully bizzare :sj
Saru
My favourite part of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy :

The machine thats taken millions of years to try and work out the answer to the universe, life and everything....

....and the answer is 42.

;D
Kismit
:s2 :s2 :s2 Saruman
Mentalcase
I don't think that an entity created the universe, the universe created the entity. So with that said...it would be, WHAT made the Universe. :s8 :s04 :su

Mentalfunk
Kismit
Ha ha ha Dshwartz . I think this thread should be re titled philsophy 101 ;)
Mentalcase
Kismit lol,i think you posted this on the wrong thread. dshwartz never posted on this one. :s04
Kismit
Dag Nabbit , I meant you Mr slinky :s2
Mentalcase
hehehehe :sg
Kismit
lmao :s2 :s2 :s2
Dr.Brain
ENOUGH!

OK......First listen to me.....I do not believe in God....and I neither like being called an Atheist.... :s3 ....I have been living in an environment where my parents are firm believers of God....yet because of my nature of "QUESTIONING THE ANSWERS" ........I got stuck on this Question.....

I am not interested "WHO MADE THE UNIVERSE" ...The answer again comes to that God made the Universe.... :s3
But what I want to know about Universe is "Whats outside Universe(s) " ???

Man will never be able to sort it down.....I think the only solution for man is Keep the earth alive by Greenery and all....and DEVELOP technology to defend the meteors and asteroids.....We should just enjoy our stay on earth and originally there's nothing to fuss about..UFO has always been puzzling..... :s9

Man has no bars...He is a greedy being .......If NASA ever makes a SPACE STATION on Mars...He would start expedition on jupiter...then saturn...then pluto..and so on...theres no end....

Like I stated be4 ...that MAN SHOULD STICK TO WHAT HE HAS GOT......

Its my theory :
"Living For Survival"

:s3
PurpleStuart
Dr. Brain - the earth has only a limited life span and for the human race to survive it must seek to colonise new planets. Hopefully by the we are able to do so we will be enlightened enough to do so in enviromentally sound ways.

Even before the time when earth has lived it's course we will have the more pressing problem of over population, which will be far more devastating to the earths ecology than anything else. To keep earth's ecology in balance, we have to colonise new worlds otherwise to keep ourselves alive we will destroy so much of earth
Dr.Brain
Hmmm... :s3

PurpleStuart ...Thats what I am talking about ..

"Living For Survival

If for survival there is a need to inherit some other planet where life can be possible...there are no objections.... ANYTHING FOR LIFE......but yes ANYHTING for mother Earth.... :s3
Mentalcase
WOW, this thread keeps changing topics. :s3
PurpleStuart
QUOTE
Like I stated be4 ...that MAN SHOULD STICK TO WHAT HE HAS GOT......

Sorry Mr Brain , i took your above statement to mean that man shouldn't leave earth - if i was in error i apologise
Dr.Brain
Ok lets bak to the main topic:

QUESTION: Who made God?

According to me there's only one ANSWER than supports this...

There's no God probably... :s3
Mentalcase
Hmmm, Probably isn't an answer. :-\
Dr.Brain
so what could be the "POSSIBLE" thing? ???
Mentalcase
Basically this whole topic is rhetorical.
Dr.Brain
maybe we can ....hmmm....like .......dis-assemble this question.... :s09
odinsupreme
So, what the last posts stated is:

"Uhm?" :s04

Odin
PurpleStuart
Yup i think this thread has run it's useful life span...
Kira
* Celti stands on soapbox.....

Did it ever really have a life span to start with? After all it's not a question u can easily dis-assemble :s09
Kismit
Here is a thought.

Maybe God was created by the collective cocsiosness of people . Like that fake ghost that was created for a seance (hmm what was his name?)
SO then obviosly people can not exist unless God created them and God can not exist unless people created him.

Oh my Imaginary diety , I can not hang out in this thread anymore as you are all obviosly just figments of my Imagination :su
PurpleStuart
That is a common theme in Sci-Fantasy Literature - Michael Moorcock especially
Ronin6th
Hehe what came first, the egg or the chicken? :s04
PurpleStuart
actually the dinosaur, but we really are going off topic now...
Mr. Underhill
The egg, because it was laid by whatever was the genetic predecessor to the chicken.
However, that brings up a more serious question... was the chicken's ancestor just as tasty?
PurpleStuart
yup, apparently dinosaurs taste just like chicken :D
Halo_Jones
Urgg!! I hate Chickens!!! :s4
Mr. Underhill
If so, we need to de-evolve some chickens... their ancestors were probably much larger... and with less gamey taste!
Dr.Brain
Actually the HEN came first because if THE EGG would have come first there would be no one to incubate or give heat to it.... :s3
PurpleStuart
nah, it's a well known fact that bunsen burners were used to heat the eggs before there were any hens ;D
Kira
:s2 :s2 :s2 :s2 :s2 ::)@ PS post
Kismit
Lol PS ...
Dr.Brain , I see your an eminem fan your quote is from one of my favorite songs off the new album . However that last word should read sombre not sunburnt , sorry to point it out on the thread.
Dr.Brain
Thanx Kismit but the line goes this way:

"This white hot light that I am under no wonder I look so sunburnt"

PurpleStuart
Eminem? isn't that a popular beat combo that all the youngsters are listening to these days?
:D
Kira
:s03 Yes so I've heard..... :s1
Dr.Brain
Celticwitch_00....you got a good sense of hearing..... :s3
Cherubim
you say who made God???
i as a christian say god didnt need to be made because he made everything right so he created the ability to create things he is outside of creation.... Think about it to him a thousand years are as a day...
Mr-X
He was a wise man who invented God.

Plato (c.428-348 BC)
