Any comments on the pyramid energy rumors? I'm unable to reproduce any of the effect.

i have heard that you can place an egg in a small wire pyramid and leave it - unrefrigerated for up to 2 weeks and it will not go bad

also , those trays that melt frozen food super fast (sold in infomercials then stores in the early 90's) are supposed to have hundreds of tiny pyramid shapes underneath the flat surface. which is why they can be cold and still thaw food , or melt an icecube faster than normal.

Yeah.. there are quite a lot of claims... but my initial experiment turned up to be negative. Anybody else wants to take a shot on doing a real experiment?
