Hello everyone. My name is Mr. M. My username is StarChild, and I am here from ATS to inform you of some circumstances that have just been brought to my attention, concerning the postings of DreamRebel, who is also a member of ATS.

Now, I would first like to say that close to all of this user's posts on your website, have come from ATS. How you ask? Well, he has been copying and pasting our posts from ATS, onto your website, in order to make himself seem somehow "intelligent". He has brought much discredit upon himself, and the ATS network.

On behalf of all users on ATS, I sincerely apologize for this user's actions. Trust me when I say, that action has been taken against him, banning him from our website. Furthermore, I believe that you yourselves should also take action, and outcast this poor lost soul from your forum, so that the possibility of something like this happening again, is reduced.

If you still don't believe me, concerning this issue, go to the following link, and look at what we are discussing on ATS right now. It is not looking too good for DreamRebel.

To finish, I must say that I admire your website, and think that you have a lot of very good information here. I only registered to post this thread, and quite frankly, have never heard of this website before. However, if you will allow me to stay, I will, and will be a lot more productive than DreamRebel, I can assure you.

can he get banned for doing that??

He's been suspended for a while, while Saruman sorts it out.

I must say, I cannot see the big deal. If he has been trying to make himself look more intelligent, well thats an issue for his own psyche to sort out.So he's been posting stuff from another site, again, big deal, is it classified or copyrighted? Not trying to defend or come across as sarky.

Blatant plagiarism is in violation of the rules and guidelines of the other forum, and not something that I would condone here either. Dreamrebel has been suspended from both boards for the forseeable future.

I have been contacted by the adminstrator of the other forum about this as well, who has requested that the plagiarised content be removed. A lot of the folks over on the other site are not at all happy about Dreamrebel posting they're own opinions here word for word and passing it off as his own.

Having followed the link to ATS, I belive the chaps at ATS are a tad peeved, and quite rightly so.

I am sure SaRuMaN will deal with this in the appropriate manner, but personally - I see it as stealing.

Something none of us would like.

Just checked out the rival site - man, those guys are not a happy bunch (and who can blame them?).

I just wanted to thank the staff for the way they are handling this situation. I appreciate you closing the thread I visited and commented in earlier. You have a nice site and I'll probably visit again and share MY experiences and MY opinions for myself.

So by "suspended from the forum" what you really meant was "no not really"?

I thought he'd been banned???

If DreamRebel has had his posting privillages suspended, will he be allowed to make a post to defend himself???

Perhaps he could PM a mod -just to let us know why he copied these other peoples posts.

I just thought he might want to say something about all this.

If anything further must be known by the public then it will be posted here. Untill then I think this topic should be closed. We don't want to insult anyone directly. This is an issue for the admins, not for anyone else. He has not been officially banned.
