Then I thought what if time exsisted on several plains of exsistence?
Could it not be possible that there is more to string theory than scientists are not telling?
They claim there may be other dimensions out there which are paralell to our own yet we cannot reach them due to a distinct lack of technology. they claim we need to use graviton guns of sorts to "blow a hole" in the space time continuaim to get there.

What if there are other dimensions out there but they are different stages of human development?

What if there is a stage created every few second that represents different stages and our world is one of them?

Each stage is a different time, not comletely in the sence that one dimension is Medieval and one is 3000AD but more like 2000 or so dimensions ranging about 200 years of of exsistence at one time?

If we could get into those we could move between times in our history!!!!

Basic time travel question. What happen if you go to one of this "other dimension" or our past, and kill your parents before you're born?

First, the speed of light is 300.000x10^3 m/s (not 6 !).
Second, why would we travel in time if we excess this speed ? If you're referring Einstein relativity theory, then traveling faster than the speed of light is out of the scope of the theory (so it stops being predictive).

Talking about dimensions and stuff, the string theory is just nothing real (until proven so), it's just a mathematical game to agglomerate physics laws together by continuously tuning some parameters to make them fit together and so far there's no experiment that prove or disprove it (so it's hard to use it as a reference for anything).

What people don't understand is that time is relative, e.g. you can travel in time faster than someone else, but that doesn't imply traveling backward in time in an absolute manner.

first of all.. if you traveled faster than the speed of light, i don't see how that's going to bring you to another time period.

ok, if dimensions were going to split to form two dimensions (thats what I get ffom this post) then why would it do it every 2 years? why that period of time? I believe that the idea of time is ludacris. I believe in alternate dimensions like yourself and time is just something we invented and has no bearing on the actual reality of nature we live in.
nature is structured, everything has a natural way of happening all the forces that are at play in our universe are interrelated with many other forces causing everything to be 'linked' together. I believe that there are different planes of existance and we exist on one plane. These planes could be spread appart by 2 years or 2 seconds there is no way of telling, unless of course we were able to travel there. Think of these dimensions as an onion. we exist within one layer of this onion and there is no way to simply move to the next layer. we would have to punch through the layer possibly with the gravity gun idea and then we could travel through, but how big of a punch we deliver is equal to how many dimensions we will jump, so really you could use the smallest punch possible and you could travel only 1 dimension ahead or behiend.

who knows how these dimensions are seperated it could be that every choice we make has various consequences and everytime a choice comes along there is another plain of existance to deviate to. now think about natural processes, if the forces of nature are constant between dimensions then the only way that a choice could be made is with a living, conscious organism. You could even go as far as saying that the simpler the organism is the more predictable it becomes and the less likely it would be that a dimension changing decision would be made. But how can something so small affect something so large? Thats a good question and could possibly be awnsered with the discovery of an energy force that exists within all living creatures, because like I said earlier all forces are interelated and if such an energy exists then it could have widespread implications to any theory similar to the one I just described.
