before i tell what happened to me i would like to say that i'm 13 years old, and i really think something strange is happening to me. you can just kind of skim through this because it's very long! Ghost story: It was two years ago i just had moved in my new home (just built) and it was easter eve. i woke up, my television turned on. i looked at our banaster by my hallway, and i saw this lady staring at me. it definatly didnt look like my mother, or anyone in my house! i was terrified! i was just laying in my bed with total shock, i didn't move, i was sweating tho. we had to be staring at eachother for like 20 minutes! i couldn't lose sight. then i don't know why i did this but i ran out of my bed and jumped down my stairs and went on my couch where my parents were watching a movie. i was shaking and crying, and they still didn't believe me.but i've done research saying that mostly ghost haunt old houses? this house has just been built! my sister and i switched rooms because i felt uncomfortable in there. (she doesn't believe in spirits yet) My mother and I have premonitions too. only me and her in our family. it's a very strange feeling to have i might say. in my case you know exactly what another person is going to say. it first happened when i was in 3rd grade. i was talking to my friend and we paused. i knew exactly what she said but it was a long sentence. i didn't tell anyone at the time though. i just recently opened that up to my father. that's when he said i have it. please reply what i'm going through!

hey. i think i know y the u saw the spirit. ur new house mustve been buit wer her old house had been. she was probably murdered wear u saw her, or had been forced out of the house by the builders, but thats just my theory.

yeah ur probably right. Or it could just be a spirt tyring to contact u. You are lucky to have preminitions tho. maybe that's why she is trying to get through to you. ???

the ghost could have been from a previous house that was on that site, as is mentioned above but the ghost was probably not aggresive in any way, more likely you got scared because you had never seen one before, or you felt its annoyance at not being able to contact anyone.

Don't be scared of her, she doesn't hurt your family rite? If she does get vilent maybe you should talk to proffessional or something...

That ghoust might have bben a ded relative that are trying to tell you something important. If you see her again ask her what she wants.

hmmm, i don't believe in hauntings or ghosts, but i do believe in spirits wanting to pass a message(don't bother asking about the difference, i can argue for hours about it) try to figure out what she wants if you see her again

Was she in white? if she seemed whitish she was a spirit, if she had a black tone to her, she was a ghost/demon. She may have died on the spot you have the new house built on OR maybe she is a relative of yours from times passed. Some spirits of people like grandparents or such act as guardians for young ones.

I know that it may sounds trivious, but the ghosts don't make You a harm - they're just some visualisations, energetic effects etc.
The poltergeists are much worse!
but, frankly speaking, I'd be really scared if I saw ANYTHING strange (especially an image a lady or something).

You might want to try just telling it to leave maybe throw in a little holy water or just google a way to get rid of ghosts.

Gah! This is ridiclous; don't just jump to conclusions that this story MUST BE a ghost of a mudered wife/daughter or whatever relation you can come up with. He may have been dreaming [Explaining why he couldnt stand up,] seeing things, or seeing an actual anomaly.

Anomaly is a much broader term than ghost, because it can describe any unusual and/or unexplainable event scientific, spiritual, or paranormal. A lady, especially in a white dress, is a common sighting for some reason. I never knew there were that many murdered people that like to wear white dresses.

What I advise doing: At night, walk into the general area of where you saw her. Relax and try to notice any changes in temperature, feeling, etc, trying to block your mind and imagination from ruling your reason. If nothing turns up, try again a few more nights at different times. If still nothing happens, then you're probably ghost free. [Note: This is a cheap way to do it without buying any equipment and under the assumption that this ghost is false]
