Hazy ghost woman in kitchen!
Lori writes, "This picture is perplexing me a bit..lol My boyfriend's son sent this to me. Seems he and a friend were alone in the friend's home. The friend snapped a picture of Jesse with a cheapy webcam. Jesse noticed the woman in the background and immediately sent the picture to me. He has no clue who it may be and swears that him and his buddy were by themselves when it was taken. Although he is an ornery teen, I don't think he's fibbing to me. If you take a close look at the woman, she doesn't really have any features in her face and she just doesn't look quite right..lol Could you give it a look and then let me know what you think?? ;-) Thanks as always! Lori"

Interesting photograph. :s09

I get the feeling that the "aparition" is just another picture superimposed on top of the picture of the guy, using photoshop or other similar program. The figure looks rather transparent, remarkably featureless, and her bottom half seems to be missing completely. ( Possibly airbrushed out ? )

I've taken a screenshot of the picture and resized the area with the woman on it to get a better look. You can view the attachment below. It does look to me as though this could have been easily created using photoshop.

The Pic looks good to me, but it's so hard to tell these days, which is a shame as we could be looking at a genuine ghost. :s6 ............or not! :D

What i find is a shame is that we still have no definate way to prove anyone`s picture it that of a ghost. Will we ever?

I have applied a filter to the picture, you will see that it has been superimposed over the background and that when someone edited out the edges they missed the bottom of it as it was so hard to see.
Bizarro
its a fake of a real person with their head photoshop blurred. i zoomed it to 1500 times on my screen and could clearly see a rectangle around the head and several slash marks where they blurred the head area out of the pic.

maybe i should make a decent photoshop fake and see if it gets passed around as a ghost? :)
Mentalcase
I agree that the face was definitely photoshopped.
PurpleStuart
Dschwartz - yeah see how well you can make a fake - it'll be interesting to see how well it can be done, and what evidence is left over which'll give pointers what to look for in other photos that may of been faked.

It's a shame but nowadays you can't trust any photographs on the net as it is so easy to fake them.

PS,

There are programs that can over lay pictures. It looks like the "ghost" in this picture is leaning against the counter or stove. so I think that they took two shots of the room from that angle (one with the guy in the back [the ghost], and one with the guy in the black shirt). Then they erased most of the 'ghost' one and simply added them together with Photoshop or some other program.

O.K Dshwartz make a fake and post it hear clearly labbelled fake but don't put it out on the net . I don't think we need any more phony photo's out there .
