user posted imageA "Mobile monster" has been snapped by a Kidderminster couple who used a "spell-ular" phone to snap this skull-like visage at a haunted Black Country hotel. Passionate paranormalists, Anthony Cartridge and Trudie Clark, spent an evening at a notorious spook house. But they found they could only witness the ghostly goings-on through a state-of the-art "terrorphone". The couple stayed at the hotel until the early hours of the morning hoping to catch a glimpse of the hotel's famed spirits - and weren't disappointed. Anthony, 36, said: "Trudie said `wouldn't it be funny if I could catch things on the phone' because she'd just got it the day before. "She switched on the camera and then we began to see things - it was amazing." Trudie added: "It was the best one we took. I was seeing things through the phone and just kept taking pictures. "I'm very sceptical - I will only believe something if I see it and now I believe I have seen it." The phone meant the couple could catch a series of petrifying pictures as the screen relayed the action in moving video. This meant the images - along with their nerves - could be frozen for eternity at the touch of a button. Soon the couple were catching blue orbs of light at the Dudley hotel - which has featured on a TV ghost hunt - including the spectral skull, seen in the bottom right of their most scary snap. But more "phant-astic" evidence was captured by the techno-minded couple during last Friday night's events, including footage from a video camera set up at the infamous Station Hotel.

Anthony, of Findon Street, said: "When we played the tape back the next day we could hear a voice say `mama' twice. "Then we saw someone on the bed, like he is reading something - it's unbelievable. "It looked like a monk and when we came back we turned the light on, then off again - and it had gone." Trudie, 32, of Abbey Road, said: "It's as if we came in and he left the room." Yet the couple said they were not frightened by the experience, even when the other-worldly events appeared to take control of their actions. "I got put to sleep," Anthony said, "just like that. "We have been told that orbs take the energy out of you and that is what I think happened. The hotel is definitely haunted," he added.

A great story, gives me all the information I need to know.

Oh, wait a minute, WHERES THE DAMNED PICTURE???

Saru
It's very likely that the couple who took the photograph have copyrighted it and the publisher of this story does not have permission to use it - hence the fact that it is not included in this article.

It is quite uncommon for new photographs accompanying articles on the subject of paranormal phenomenon and UFO's to be publically available straight away, most people will initially sell the rights to publish the pictures to a specific newspaper or news agency.

huh.gif Call me naive, but do people SELL the rights to ghost pictures they have taken?
So, this couple are fans of 'Most haunted', they travel to a haunted house, as luck would have it they photograph some spooks, they then sell the pictures for cold, hard cash?
I'm just going to grab my camera... whistling2.gif

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif great pun!

I'd imagine the couple in this case are going to make a good few quid out of their story, whether or not the pictures are genuine. Unfortunately this commercialisation of paranormal related stories tends to reduce their credibility somewhat.

Would we be more willing to believe this story if someone had posted it to this web site themselves with no financial gain, rather than trying to sell it to the media ?

yes sauraman, yes I would
thankyou for asking thumbsup.gif
