There was something called 'Happy House' that filled in when Rainbow wasn't aired.
Each program involved a ventriloquist telling a story with his dummy. Most of these were unknowns - apart from the inevitable Rod Hull - and remained rightfully so. One man had a talking boot, as far as I recall!

The best things about the Happy House were the theme (nothing to do with Siouxie and her Banshees) and titles. A cartoon house with a happy smile and two tulips swaying by the door as a voice sang the complicated lyric Ha ha-ha ha haaa- haaa... I'm not making this up. blink.gif

Ooh where to start, erm here goes...

The kids programs that I liked as I was growing up were:

Transformers
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
X Men
The Amazing Spider-Man
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
Dogtanian and the Three Muskerhounds
David the Gnome
Gummie Bears
Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers
Knightmare
Penny Crayon
Charlie Chalk
Bananaman
Bravestar
Star Squadron
Thundercats
Rainbow
The Incredible Hulk
Simon and the Witch
The Fantastic Four

and my all time favourite: The Mysterious Cities of Gold
NightMoon
Thewre's some cartoons I watch during kids TV hour but I don't know what they're called.

I used to watch:

He-Man
Dramarama spooky
Grange Hill (in the 80's when it was like St. Trinians)
Ullesues 31
Mysterious Cities of Gold
Smurfs
Fraggle Rock
Sesame Street
Robin of Sherwood (not for kids but family, on TV every sunday summer afternoons during the 80's)
Flintstones

I can't think of it's name now but it was a science fiction cartoon about an interstellar high school. It was on about 13 years ago

OneEye
Fraggle Rock, definatly. I forgot all about it until a couple weeks ago when I found an old tape with one episode on it. Now I'm trying to get the whole set.

I used to watch Sonic the Hedgehog a lot.

And I found a picture the other day of me watching a live-action Winnie the Pooh show, does anyone remember this, because I don't...
Dowdy
a show that i still watch is Dragon Ball

and i watch any marvel cartoon, when they're on

Robin of Sherwood was bloody wonderful. It put all the later film versions to shame. It was atmospheric, magical, quality TV, with Clannad's wonderful score, adding the final touch.

Loved it. grin2.gif
