I'd love to do the debate! I don't know how much time I'll have on the internet though, but my parents said probably very little, if at all, so that'd be great to set it up when I get back!

I'll be on the side that says he was innocent

Thanks Lottie!

I just thought of a pretty simple one:
If humans didn't exist (and no other intelligent species walked eath)
would fire be existant or spawn naturally?I know its always possible to be created, But its not like Rhino's will rub heads and catch fire.

I'd be up for arguing against you on this one. Particularly because I don't know very much ABOUT it, and would be very interested in learning.

As of now, I have no strong feelings one way or the other, but you wouldn't be able to tell that. >:D

I don't know about the Harry Potter thing being a debate.
To be honest, I could see everyone using their ideas in one or two posts, and that would be it. I just don't see 7 posts worth of material.

I have a debate suggestion. It is focused on concerns of the natural environment, and whether the current methods of conserving the environment around the world is effective or not? Are we doing enough to conserve the environment through these schemes such as reducing green house gases, cutting down less trees? Or is more effective ideas needed?
Please note I have not formed the actual debate question yet. I would like it if anyone can help me out by forming a debate question based on my idea. I would like to participate in this one.

I don't really think that's worth debating, to be honest.
Same with the impact of cartoon on kids. Studies have already proven that television does not affect the development or behaviour of a child. So an argument to the contrary would be almost pointless.
