I have seen a lot of posts on Iran go by this past week.
I think most of those people would like something about Iran attacking or being attacked.

I have also seen some great jokes go by. A _______vs________ on who can come up with the funniest jokes based upon a topic picked by the judges might be fun to read. Maybe a poll could be added at then end of it for people to vote who was the funniest?

THis is one I was thinking of at work today (don't ask) - Does True Love exist?

Is there the one special person, the Mr or Mrs Right, that we are just destined to be with. Or is love nothing more than a reaction, chemically no different than eating large quantities of chocolate.

Suggestion: Are aliens male and female ?

I don't think this would make a long enough debate to be honest and considering we do not know if Aliens even exist its not really workable.

Wal-Mart: helping the north american economy or stomping on the little guy.

^If it was slightly more generalised instead of being specificly against one organisation then it could make quite an interesting debate which I would consider setting up.

The topic could be "Is the spread of mulit-chain outlets such as Wal-mart worth the economic positives when it forces the "little guys" to go out of business?"

The above brought to mind the whole subject of "outsourcing."
Many jobs are sent abroad from America, esp in the s/w industry. The companies claim this actually helps America's job market, other calim it only takes jobs away.

I think this could be interesting, and I still am not certain what side of the issue I side with.
