Heidenrich is suppose to be an animal so he grunts a lot, and was imposing himself on michael cole...... It does look odd, but it isnt sexual unless you want to take it that way....

Sounds to me like WWE is turning into WCW...hard not to blame Vince for it. Sometimes, I just get the feeling he doesn't care about his own company nowadays. He's got no idea how to keep his guys happy, how to build a fued, how to hire decent writers, how to higher decent wrestlers, how to keep good ones, or how to avoid people looking at the competition and thinking "hey, that looks cooler."

This time last year, I would have looked at TNA and thought it was overhyped crap, that the smarks go in for just because they hate WWE. There was little or no fresh content on the shows, and overall it just fell flat. The matches were spot fests, from one end of the card to the other, and the shows just went from one spot monkey to the next, each match looking exactly the same as the others.

Now, I'm actually thinking it doesn't look so bad compaired to some of the crap the WWE is putting out


Funny story by the way...

One the way out of work today, the automatic doors had been turned off (I was stuck in late cleaning with some folk) and had to be forced open by hand. I was the first in line, so was the one to open them (they were easy to push aside, they weren't locked, just turned off), at which point the guy walking behind me shouted something about a female hulk hogan moment.

Which is rubbish of course For a start, I have more than three moves, and second if I walked down the ring and ripped my shirt off, it might actually get ratings

It could be they planned on using the name, but just decided against it when they realised it was crap...either that, or they still plan on having it not long after Taboo Tuesday, but just haven't done anything whatsoever to hype it (kinda like taboo tuesday in that too ).

I don't mind Triple H so much....his work rate has picked up by huge leaps and bounds, and his in ring work is actually about as good as it was before his injury in 2000 (or...was it 2001?)...I just wish he had no say whatsoever in the writing

Although, in fairness, having Triple H constantly involved, somehow, with the world title isn't so bad compaired to most of the crap the writers put out there...huge ego or not, at least Triple H's ideas actually relate somehow to wrestling.

I have no problem with him constantly in the world title picture, just wish he wouldnt keep winning it....

ahhhh, i've returned. i've been reading up periodically, but not as much as i'd like. i've been out of town a lot lately, trying to move in to a new place, access to a computer has been limited at best. but now i'm settled in and ready to nerd out with you fine folks out there in internet-land.

i'm glad to see the thread made 100 pages, congrats to all.

i was glad to see the title on orton, for as short amount of time as it was anyway. he looked very poised, he suited the role nicely. i maintain that he, jericho, benoit and shelton are the best exclusive talent that raw has ever seen. he does have a point though, i'd much rather see him chasing the title for a couple months in an underdog story (because that's what he is) than defending it. this way they can built up a massive, end-all feud between him and HHH and actually have it be good. they won't, but by golly they really could.

it's a little late, but i've gotta earn my nickname and comment on the kamala thing. kamala the ugandan giant, man if you didn't see it for yourself you need to dig up some old tapes. he might've spent some time in ECW at some point, but he was best known in the early 90's in wwf. his angle was that he was an african headhunter, fat (but could still move pretty well), black, bald with kind of a skull-ish thing painted on his face. part of his gimmick was that he would wear a grass skirt and had yellow stars painted over his nipples and a moon on his belly, which he would slap around while yelling incoherently on his way to the ring. i remember after they turned him face they'd give him an evil manager or tag partner that would slap him around trying to keep him focused on the match (which is something they've used a thousand times since, but it all started with the missing link back in the 80's). he kind of looked like abdullah the butcher.

Fozzy does suck, but i don't blame chris jericho. he's a good singer, for what the music is.

good to be back. my take on benoit losing the title is simple, at least he didn't lose it to triple h. if he had to drop it, orton or jericho would've been the only two on the show that i could see taking it from him. i think his title reign (benoit's) was a disgrace though, they had him taking on the same two guys until they put him in an un-hyped (seemingly made at the last minute) match with orton. but still, if he had to drop it, there are worse people to drop it to.

what can i say about the diva search that hasn't already been said about 600 times? it's like watching a 2 month long hulk hogan match. in that it's boring, unimaginitive, dull, has no semblance of creativity and its participants are talentless wastes of space. if they're trying to pass the women's division off as legitimate, they're really going about it the wrong way. it's been coming pretty far lately too, what with the actual matches and everything.

as far as heidenreich/cole, i knew it was a matter of time before cole's taste for the men spilled over onto the air. after all, i think we all know that he didn't get hired because of his announcing expertise...
