Batista is so big because of his muscle mass. He has very little body fat(probably about 7%) at 280lb or whatever he is. Compare that to Mick Foley who probably has 25% body fat or more. I was a personal trainer for 8years, so that is why I bring up the comparison in body fat.

OK, well after reading all that, I wanted to do a little research, so I went to the WWE website, and checked out the roster, the weight is terrible but hey, whadda ya gonna do
Height-Kane(7), Gene Snitsky(close to 7), Tyson(6'5), Rock(6'5), Batista(6'5), Edge(6'5), Cade(6'5), Rosey(6'5), HHH(6'4), Randy(6'4), Val Venis(6'3), Christian(6'2), Matt(6'2), Maven(6'2), Foley(6'2), Conway(6'2), Regal(6'2), Shelton(6'2), Steven(6'2), Mark Henry(6'1), Ric Flair(6'1), HBK(6'1), Eugene(6'1), Y2J(6), Hurricane(6), Sylvain(6), Benoit(5'11), Rhyno(5'10), Tajiri(5'9)
Weight-Mark Henry(380), Rosey(360), Kane(326), Batista(317), Snitsky(300), Foley(287), Tyson(285), Rhyno(275), Cade(261), Rock(260), HHH(260), Val Venis(260), Sylvain(250), Shelton(245), Regal(245), Randy(245), Flair(243), Edge(240), Eugene(238), Christian(235), Y2J(231), Conway(230), HBK(225), Matt(225), Benoit(220), Steven(220), Maven(210), Tajiri(205), Hurricane(191)
Hmmm, I guess it all really depends on how you are marketed, you can "HHH is a monster" but he doesn't act like one, he's the heel who runs away from a fight, so you can't take him seriously as a monster, it's the same thing with Foley, but Foleys not that tall so don't call him a big guy.
I was surprised to see how big Val Venis, and Garrison Cade actually are
I don't think the big men are wasting as much time and money, as some diva search losers are

Christian is 6'2"? That's quite a bit taller than I thought he was, I thought he was only like, 5'10" or so.
AtticusBlueprint
Jan 22 2005, 09:02 PM
^lol, I thought Christian would be taller then 6'2 because it doesn't look like he has huge muscles, so it makes him look taller, kinda like Edge, who is actually tall, but he doesn't have alot of muscle mass
I also can't see HBK being 225, I think he might be less

In what has to be good news for WWE, the New Year's Revolution PPV scored a preliminary buyrate of 270,000. That is one of the largest numbers WWE has done for a single-brand PPV in recent memory and proves the Elimination Chamber is still a draw. Being that it was a one-match show, all of those 270,000 buys come from people who believe $34.95 was a fair price for the main-event.
Oh dear lord....Why did we get this PPV...why oh why....

Apparently..... Christian decided the IC title wasnt for him obviously, and decided the Tag Belts he has had many many times, that led nowhere, are far more important to him.....
AtticusBlueprint
Jan 23 2005, 11:06 PM
^lol, yeah really, even Christian has fought Shelton many of time though, thats why Randy Orton, and Edge should have stayed in the mid-card because they could have done so much more, while Chris Jericho could have gone for the World title instead of the IC, but I think this leaves opening for IC title contenders, notable mention, Rhyno, Steven Richards, and Tajiri

Yeah, I heard that little run in might be a sign for WrestleMania, Heidenreich/Snitsky vs Kane/Undertaker is the rumour right now, and as much as I'm a mark for Kane and Undertaker, and as much as them being a tag team is a pretty cool idea for me, I really don't wanna see them face those two guys

*Hulk rips off ref t-shirt*
*Heidenreich and Snitsky start beating on Hulk Hogan for no reason, Hogan sells poorly*
*Then Hogan "Hulks Up" and then stops selling, and starts beating up both of them*
*big boot to Heidenreich, crappy bodyslam to Snitsky, the Leg Drop to both of them, he pins both, then dances around the ring while people are cheering him for some reason*

Which I hope happens this has been one of the better storylines the WWE has come up with in awhile knocking off the my favorite in the last few years which was Chavo/Kidman/London fued which was wasted for no reason.
I also heard that The Rock wanted to put over Snitsky at WrestleMania, while the promos would be funny, I would much rather see The Rock go over to the failing Smackdown, and put over (the hopefully recovered) Carlito, and I think the promos between those two would be excellent as well

I wonder what Jericho is even gonna do at WrestleMania, him and Benoit have been kinda just floating around on RAW, we need another draft and Jericho needs to go to smackdown and face Booker T, Eddie G, or Kurt Angle, for the WWE Title
Subtemperate
Jan 24 2005, 12:26 AM
yes, although I know smackdown cant lose anymore stars, i kinda wish I could see Angle against Michaels, HHH and co....
Jericho needs to be put in the position where he can win a belt, whichever show its on doent matter to me..... watching him lose is whats getting old...lol

Jan 24 2005, 12:34 AM
Well, I still think Smackdown has plently of stars there just not used properly, I would like to see either a HBK move to smackdown or a Smackdown star to move to face HBK, if you look at it HBK has faced almost every guy on the roster HHH, Y2J, Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, Batista, Christian, Edge, the only other option is either push a guy already on the roster, or one of the new guys, like Simon Dean or Hassan.
I think JBL has had his time on smackdown, the house show atendance has been down, and the quality has been down, sure, JBL has improved but he didn't take the ball and run with it, I think Y2J can take the ball and run with it, if given the proper oppents and right storylines, Y2J could be the face of Smackdown and roll with it

What would you think if Vince let Brock come back instead of going to Japan? I mean since the shows seem to be dying at least he could boost it up a little, however there may be tension with superstars backstage as they reckon he just walked out on 'em? Anyway I don't watch much wrestling at all because of the state of the shows when I stopped watching.

A Brock return would be bitter sweet, the man bashed wrestling, and basically acted like an ass after he left the WWE high and dry, but Brock was an excellent superstar and very marketable.

Yeah, having brock back would be both good and bad.... good for the standard of talent he would bring, bad because his attitude sucks. People with bad attitudes like his generally dont bash the sport your leaving.
Although Brock vs HHH would be interesting to see for once...

i personally thought the nWo storyline was getting good up until they canned it. i missed it one week but saw highlights and what not, but the following week i tune in and McMahon was saying that the nWo collapsed.

i know this is a little late, but still had to say it.

NWO folded because they took away Hulk Hogan, then Nash got Injured and Scott Hall was having drug poblems, so he was fired.....
All they had left from who they had in that group were Xpac and Shawn Michaels, which is why that group died....

Q: Who do you think is winning in the rivalry between Raw and Smackdown?
Batista: I don't consider it a rivalry at all. We're a better show, period. There's no comparison. I feel for Smackdown, I just don't know what's going on over there. I try to watch the shows but, for me, they're hard to sit through. And that really makes me sick as it should be a top show. I've watched their tapings live and it seems like a lot of the guys couldn't care less. There's a lack of passion and pride. They need the stress of a live show on them, like we have. A lot of them think: "Oh, it's taped. If I mess up, we'll just redo it." They're more worried about where they're going after the show, which also makes me sick because it means they're not there to work.
I feel for Smackdown too Batista
