lol...that inferno match was pretty dire...not through any lack of effort from Kane and Taker, they were just way too limited in whatever they were able to do in a ring surrounded by flames That, and the heat really started to get to them early.

Was very visually impressive though...

I remember that Owen Hart vs Tripper match though....during it, Chyna was lifted into a cage over the ring to stop her interfering. A few minutes into the match, she got out a file and started to cut through the bars....but she dropped it After a few minutes panicing, she ended up physically forcing the bars apart to get out.

Lesson learned: Chyna was a freak.

Well, the JBL/Eddie angle was actually kind of cool, the average guy versus the the rich snob. It would have worked if it had gone on longer, and there was more build up between the matches. It seems like Eddie just dropped off the map after he lost the title. It would have been a better fued if it had lasted longer.

Yes, but after the inital ued we have had not much in between..... The JBL Taker fued had no real point, other then to have Heidenrich get involved...... Booker didnt really have a fued.......

There wasnt much good fill in stuff after the eddie fued really....

I am disappointed that Grimace will be making a return.

But if he is on SD, then I am sure I won't see him, since I haven't had the stomache for it in 9 mths. Which makes me sad.

Anyway.

Its a pity actually that smackdown has sucked so bad, because they have had some of the best TV matches as of later. Eddie vs Rey....Kurt vs Rey.....

Its a pity its ruined by the rest of it....

The story writing is so incredibly awful I can't bear it.

I mean, you have to have stories to base thse characters and matches on, and the stories they are turning out are just so lame, it makes me feel like WWE gives no credit to their audience. I don't know maybe I am just an idiot, but to me, they just dont care about how stupid things turn into, and/or the really believe that everyone who watches wrestling is hillbilly moron, or something along those lines, you know what I am saying.

That, and there are so many people wandering around there without any personality at all. Wasting space. And time.



It just makes me sad and a tenny bit angry at once.

I will keep my RAW complaints to myself though, because it is all I have.

Yes, the writing has been getting very depressing lately....although I do think the way Batista's been marketed has, at least, demonstrated a faint glimmer of hope. It's a sign that the writing team does know how to build someone up, which they've been doing a terrible job of lately...

Good build up - Okay, we've got this rookie who's got an awesome look, his name's Batista. What do we do? I know! We'll put him in a really over heel stable as "heavy"....he'll spend a few months beating the living hell out of people to get him heat, although he'll really only have peripheral role...little by little, we'll start bringing him more into the spotlight, and book him against opponents that really let him show off how strong he is. Maybe after a year or so with the company, he'll be ready for the main event.

Bad build up - So, this Bradshaw guy...how long's he been in the buisiness? A few years at least, and he still hasn't learned how to wrestle, and the fans couldn't care less about him as a singles competitor I know, let's make him the champion out of the blue, and let's have him kill the heat of one of the most over and talented guys on our roster right now by taking the belt from him!

Batista-berg has had very good build up. In fact, I would also put Randy Ortons treatment in the bad build up. He was pushed really quick and really fast....and even he thinks he was burning out (which is why this concussion thing is in, to change his character)

Slowly is always the best way....

Yes, Randy was way too far, way too fast...while I didn't object to him making it into the world title hunt, I did think it was way too soon for him to actually win it. Especially given the offhand way in which Benoit was treated while he was champion. He was just used as a second fiddle, and that pissed me off.

Benoits personality will always see him playing second fiddle....

Benoit is great, outside Angle he is the best wrestler in WWE, but Angle's success is proof that the only thing holding Benoit back is his personality... Or at least WWE's inability to properly market that "Action Speak Louder Than Words" attitude Benoit has... Since Angle isn't exactly the biggest guy on the roster either.

Of course this logic is thrown out the window in Eddie's case... Has the skills, has the personality, but yet he is out of the title picture also.

Though I like the angle, I think Batista's gonna be a bust. Not sure if people are really behind him cause they like him, or because they are just sick of Triple H.

Well, the people havent been behind a lot of HHH's opponents, such as Edge, also he got the same reaction when it came to smackdown.... (Yes I know people are sick of JBL, but they also have Cena they go mad for)

I think people are genuinly behind Batista.....if only because he's so wide, it's difficult to step round him

Now as probably the only Undertaker fan here...out of all the people he could loose to at wrestlemania....please god not Randy. Im all for putting people over, but he should be putting over someone who's on the rise, not stalling..... Cena vs Taker would have been great for Cena to go over...... If Randy wins, it leaves him still nowhere....he beat a legend (ok thats good for his legend killer gimmick).... but when he goes back to Raw... I cant see much momentum he can gather from it.....

I'm an Undertaker fan too, but he better not lose at Wrestlemania because his streak needs to continue until he retires. I also thought Randy was a face, if he's going against the Undertaker, he's going to get met with a lot of boo's.

I liked Randy more as a heel. I think a win verses Taker is bad, I don't even see the real point in the match.

They need to start giving Shelton Benjamin some good feuds, the Maven feud was pittiful, it was MAVEN for christ sake, and this apparent feud starting with Snitsky has doom written all over it, as it's SNITSKY. It makes the title look more important if established stars like Benoit and Jericho take stabs at, and makes it look real unimportant when they would rather challenge a newcomer loud mouth than an IC champ.

I didn't think the first match between those 2 was all that bad, I still think Hassan should go after the IC title though.

Also, I was thinking why doesn't the WWE like to use their own talent, I mean, why did we need a new guy for the Chris Masters gimmick. I think they should have used Rene Dupree, he has the look, he isnt bad on the mic or in the ring, hes already kinda over, and it would have gotten him away from the French gimmick.

Tajiri should be going for the intercontinental title.... as well as Rhyno and a few others that could put on an entertaining match. Snitsky doesn't have the flexibilty in his moveset to make a fued anywhere near entertaining....

The Narcisist gimmicks have not worked for WWE since the says of Ravishing Rick Rude... They keep giving the gimmick to guys with no personality, Jindrak sucks, Luger was the pits, and this Chris Masters doesn't impress me at all.

The Narcisist, the evil Arab/Russian, and this Simon Dean retarded gimmick... It's like WWF circa 80's and early to mid 90's... NOT GOOD.

Not to mention... The Full Nelson? They honestly think people will believe a Full Nelson will win a match these days. And then they give Simon Dean and Hassan virtually identical moves, except one falls forward and the other falls backward... If those 2 wrestled and went for the finisher at the same time, it would like a freaking ballroom waltz.

Actually I quite like Simon Dean and Hassan....... Maybe because I myself have not seen them wrestle...apart from very quick matches....

Luger started off as the narcisist, but then quickly became "Mr America"..... But yes, that gimmick has been done to death......

There are heaps of moves that we are expected to think are finishing moves..... that couldnt possibly be. A chokeslam? Cmon.... A spear? Footballs cop them all the time, and get up all the time..... I can go through a list....... Full Nelson is rather ok, compared to many others....
