I always think of UT V. JH in the LM when I think of Jeffykins. I mean Jeff.
Anyway, he wasnt/isnt the greatest but I am very loyal so I must stay with my love for him.
I must be loyal to still be a HHH supporter as well as an Edge fan.

I missed almost all wrestling between 1985ish to 1995..... Man was that a wake up call when i got some of the recent stuff then.....
Andre was awesome, unfortunately we only really get to see that tiny bit of him when he jobbed to hogan, but before that he was amazing for his size in the ring....

I have all these old wrestling magazines from thw late eighties and early ninties and they have hogan, Randy Savage, Bret hart, Shawn Micheals, HHH,Undertaker, Andre, Flair, Ultimate warrior and all those old wrestlers who I loved to watch. Akthough as burnside said there wasn`t really good coverage until the teh mid to late nineties!
I wish the Macho man Randy Savage was still on WWE, he was awesome!

RVD is definately a spot monkey...his matches tend to involve the same moves over and over, just tweaked so that they come out in a different order every time

He can just get away with it because he often adds a new one into the sequence, and because his existing moves are so impressive.
Having said that though, nobody gets higher than RVD
Subtemperate
Feb 27 2005, 09:37 PM
Every wrestler could have the same thing said though....It just depends how you put them together, and a few are better then the rest.....
Seraphina
Feb 27 2005, 09:41 PM
Not every wrestler....most wrestlers have a different repetior depending on their opponent, and switch around to use different moves to better compliment the match they're in. RVD wrestles the same match, regardless of who he's up against.

Feb 27 2005, 09:44 PM
Benoits match -
Slap...slap....slap....suplex....suplex...suplex.... submission.....
Not much different with him, apart from the obvious matches at PPV where he gets a heap more time....RVD never gets that sort of time....
Seraphina
Feb 27 2005, 09:49 PM
Benoit is actually a good example of what I mean...he's a guy who has had hard hitting matches with guys like Triple H, who's had chain wrestling matches with Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho, and who's had matches where he's taken a lot of things to the air, like Eddie Guerrero?

Often, he blends them all together in some respect, but Benoit is one of those guys who emphasises certain parts of his moveset to better suit the match situation.

Hulk Hogan and his family are currently embroiled in a war with their local council over their animals of all things.
Neighbors have complained to the council about the smell of the animals and the noise they make.
"We're trying to live our life here and get along," said Hogan to the newspaper. "and they're hell-bent on trying to get rid of our animals."
"We're trying to blend in and not push our celebrity on the community, and it's almost like they have nothing better to do but to pry into our lives," said Hogan's wife Linda.
The problems are said to have started when Hogan adopted a rooster in 2000 as part of Brooke Hogan's science project.
....I have had roosters....Im guessing that something else stinks at the hogan household.....

Watch one of the matches with Steven Richards vs Chris Jericho on Sunday Night Heat, they put on a spectacular show, Richards should get a IC Title run but he is WWE's punching bag.
I still think Rene Dupree should have gotten the Masterpiece gimmick, it would be better then the stale and outdated French gimmick.

A fued with Hassan does absolutely nothing for Benoit. Hassan is a relative nobody, and Benoit is actually likely to LOSE heat by fueding with him....Hassan stands to benefit far more from being in the ring with Benoit, than Benoit does from him.

It would be nice is we lived in a world where the average wrestling fan cheered for a worker, and estimated a worker's worth on the card, based on their actual wrestling ability...unfortunately, that's not the case.
To the average wrestling fan, overness is directly attributed to ability - if a guy is really over, then they believe they must be a great wrestler (it's the only way to possibly explain Hulk Hogan). Whatever a guy's talents, even those of Chris Benoit, he would lose credibility in the eyes of the crowd if he were seen to have trouble dealing with a nobody. And, obviously, it wouldn't do Hassan any good to get squashed, so we're left with Benoit suffering.

-- Earlier this week, we confirmed relationship trouble between Matt Hardy and Amy "Lita" Dumas. Hardy had photos of Lita taken down from his official website, and when emailed inquiries about the situation, told fans to "ask Lita" why the pictures were taken down. Undoubtedly, this implied a problematic relationship.
According to fans on Matt Hardy's message board (TheMattHardy.com), Hardy fans did indeed ask Lita about the situation at a public appearance. Sure enough, she confirmed there are problems in the relationship.
At this point, the official reason for trouble is not yet known. There are rumors going around, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what those rumors might be, but nothing of any weight has made rounds.

There is an article over at AberdeenNews.com featuring quotes from former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar, who attended the state B wrestling tournament in Aberdeen last Friday.
Brock was mobbed by fans at event and spent most of his time signing autographs.
The article played up the fact that Lesnar did not like his "celebrity" tag with him saying, "I enjoyed stepping into the ring. I enjoyed competing. Did I enjoy the spotlight? Probably not as much as I enjoyed being just a regular guy. I grew up on a dairy farm. I left wrestling because I just wasn't a big fan of the fame. For me, I'm just a regular guy."
Brock claims to be enjoying his time off from wrestling as he is spending more time with his daughter.
On his future, Brock says he may have another run at pro football and states that he would like to become a wrestling coach and work with kids.
There is no mention of a return to pro wrestling by Lesnar.
