No, I disagree. People just don't deserve that kind of treatment at work for an error in their personal life. They are performers who do go out and give it their all to entertain, and that needs to be put into context....
I mean stone cold didn't get hassled for beating a woman..... from what I can remember, why should these two be different....

I agree...although I imagine the crowd certainly will give them hell for it (we'll probably start getting "you screwed Matt" chants...or for Lita "you screwed Edge"

)...I don't think that's right.
I don't justify what they did, but I do think whatever's going on in their personal lives should be kept seperate from the job they're doing in the ring.

Well edge might cop it.... already at the last house show there was a sign saying Edge betrayed V1..... Lita might miss out on the action... (well THIS type of action).....
Apparantly matt hardy was going to be involved in that ladder match at mania, as well as edge..... Apparently the WWE changed their minds....and if so, they have a good reason....

Actually I kinda hope that Matt goes too Smackdown because of this, then he could feud with OJ for the US Title which could be good. While Edge gets some more heel heat on RAW.

The same place all the talented cruiserweights ultimately go....dark matches

although it's also possible he's injured...I don't honestly know

Maybe the WWE just sent him home when they ran out of things to do with him, after they realised that simply booking him against heels, without any explanation of why he should be considered a face, was not enough to make the crowd accept him as one, and the result was they'd not know whether to cheer or boo.

He considered it his exclusive color due how closely he was identified with it. When Josh Matthews joked that no one else is allowed to wear orange, Tazz responded with "Yeah, like ten years ago, and the internet fans all think that I'm still living that gimmick and they're nuts, too. But that's another story”
-- Kurt Angle was recently featured in the Chicago Daily Herald urging kids to stay in school, and away from drugs. He spoke on the baseball steroid controversy, and how he was able to avoid them in his career. Reading back a bit
Actually, Zach was a pretty darn good wrestler, however his disability made him more of a "freak" show than anything else, I would imagine not having a leg would also mean he would always have to limit his muscle mass on his upper body, so he would always have that small look.
Its funny Angle said "We're Hollywood stunt men that put together wrestling matches that people can watch and be inspired by,” .. Flair once used the term "Glorified Stuntman" in reference to Foley, and it wasnt meant as a compliment . . .
They always make little jabs at the "Internet Fans"

Zach darn good? Maybe for independant shows, but to be on the "biggest" show you need (or at least should be) extremely good at what you do. Dropkicks and moonsaults (thats all i ever saw him do) does not make you a good wrestler....

Yeah, Zach had all the basics down.. as for a limited repetoire, you cannot fairly put that lable on a WWE wrestler as they are are limited to the amount of moves they are allowed to use.

Despite original reports, it seems the 'war' over the ECW PPV is not as intense as once believed. Although WWE would obviously prefer the former ECW stars to work its show and not Shane Douglas' reunion, there is reportedly no internal expectation that the names contacted will only work WWE's show. WWE's focus is solely on the authenticity of the show and not on having a dominant grasp of the ECW reunion market, so they fully understand the former stars are not under WWE contract and might want to work both events. It seems highly unlikely that the previously reported offers to Sandman and Justin Credible, among others, were meant to be 'WWE exclusive' offers, although if they were, that will no longer be the case. In short, there is not really a war going on over the ECW reunion. WWE just wants to capture the essence of ECW with its 6/12 PPV.
-- In addition to the independent names, WWE has also reached out to various former ECW stars that are currently under TNA contract. It is highly unlikely TNA will allow its performers to work the show, but the very fact WWE has contacted names like Raven and Jerry Lynn indicates how seriously WWE is taking the effort.

Yeah, Zach had all the basics down..
What basics would these be?

I never, in his brief stint with the WWE, saw him pull off any kind of wrestling move...none whatsoever. He spent all his time hopping around the ring, hitting that silly dropkick of his (which appeared to be about his only offensive move at all except a running-hop-splash).
Zack was utterly talentless

End of story. Not only did he have no wrestling skills whatsoever, but his...shall we say mode of transportation...left him burned out, and stuggling to last in any match longer than a few minutes (I can't imagine he could do much training at all).
If Zach Gowan thought he had achieved something despite his disability, then he's an idiot. His limited career thus far has shown that he is only ever hired for the novelty value of a one legged wrestler, before he's gotten rid of. He's where he is because of his disability, not despite it.

Despite word coming out this weekend that Matt Hardy was set to be at Monday's RAW, he was reportedly asked by management to avoid attending the show. Matt was in driving distance and wanted to visit friends backstage, but was kindly asked not to show up and did adhere to the request.
This move was by no means an indication of WWE siding with Edge and Lita over Hardy. But, unlike Hardy, they were booked for the show and needed to be present. WWE saw no upside to aggravating the situation by placing Hardy in the same lockerroom as those two workers, so made the decision to ask Hardy to refrain from attending.

Actually Im not very interested in that ladder match at all . . your putting all your eggs in one Basket ( ie all your good workers in one match)
As of yet the IC title is NOT being defended at Mania
IMO, its a waste of the Talents of Benoit, Jericho,Shelton,Christian and Edge
That's a lot of talent being spent in one go, instead of giving us good matches throughout the show.
And what the crap are they doing with Orton ? he does a heel promo to challenge UT . . And then he RKO'S Bischoff . . . making him a face again . . .

As expected, the Hardy-Lita-Edge love triangle was the hot topic of discussion backstage at RAW last night. Although talk on the situation had been quiet at weekend house shows, it was open season yesterday with talent from SmackDown! on their cell phones to the RAW guys to try and get updates.
Matt Hardy wasn't backstage at the show last night, per WWE's request, who felt it would be best given Lita and Edge were both booked for on-screen appearances.
With Hardy not at the show, management held meetings with Edge and Lita to discuss recent events and how the situation could be defused given that WrestleMania is around the corner.
As for backstage reaction - Edge nor Lita were shunned by their peers, however there was some ackwardness that accompanied both wherever they went backstage, which was to be expected. As for Matt Hardy, many in the locker room feel sympathetic toward him as he is a popular figure and thought of as a kind boyfriend.

Dark match:
Someone who's name I couldn't make out (sounded like Silus Dean, but I could be way off) beat Murray Happar. Decent match. Crowd was into this too, which was a suprise since crowds usually turn on these types of matches.
Sunday Night Heat:
Gene Snitsky beat Val Venis. Was what you'd expect. Good heat for Val, considering he's been treated as a jobber since 1999.
Chris Masters beat Caprice Coleman. Cut a promo gloating about injuring Steven Richards. Apparantley, his finisher (full-nelson) is called the Master Lock.
Rob Conway beat Rhyno. Sylvain Grenier was ordered to leave the ring after interfering. Conway won with a rollup and his feet on the ropes.
William Regal & Tajiri beat Simon Dean & Maven. This marks the fourth or fifth week in a row that the Tag Champs haven't been on the A-show, and because of that I didn't even remember who the champs were until they came through the curtain.
RAW:
Ric Flair cut a promo on Raleigh, basically dissing the city's sports teams. Amazingly, Flair got MORE over because of it. Only the Nature Boy, I guess.
Afterwards:
After RAW went off the air, Batista challenged Triple H. They had a 10-15 minute match. A LOT of Flair stuff on the outside, which was really the highlight. Okay match, but not WrestleMania main-event worthy. Although, I'm sure during the Mania match they'll use a lot more smoke & mirrors and creative tricks to build up the story. I will say this: the fans want this match, as there was a loud roar when the bell rang to begin the match and another eruption when Hunter & Batista locked-up. It's amazing how Batista went from the weak link in Evolution a few months ago to being so over that he couldn't even get booed against Ric Flair in North Carolina.
