Hogan is slow, old and hasn't got any of the skill he used to have.Michaels, however, actually has the age advantage here, something rare for HBK.Michaels is in fantastic shape and always put's on a classic. He is simply too speedy for the likes of Hogan, who perform roughly 8 moves in that ring, with no real wrestling skill. He wins because he sells tickets.

So?I don't really give a damn.Shawn Michaels has been a great performer for 10 years.Hulk Hogan is at a ripe old age, while HBK, he improves himself every week. You can't stop a show stopper.Shawn Michaels' way of wrestling makes it exciting, not some boring slow asswipe wrestling.I would also suggest using full stops in future

It is still unknown for sure whether or not WWE.com’s coverage of Brock Lesnar’s contract negotiations are a shoot or a work. However, according to one lawyer, due to the fact that there was a pending lawsuit between Brock Lesnar and WWE there is no way the company would legally be able to cover the contract negotiations, therefore, almost guaranteeing this situation to be a work.

Why are people arguing the victor of the HBK vs Shawn Michaels match based on talent?

If the results were based on talent, then Hulk Hogan would never have won a match in his career.
Currently, I'm on the fence. Hogan and Shawn have both done their fair share of hogging spotlights, and killing heat. If I'm lucky, they'll both put their backs out before the match, and we won't have to worry about it.

LOL
Anyway, to a different Summerslam match.JBL VS Batista.I personally think this will be a crap match just like The Bash.Undertaker could make that match WAY more entertaining.I personally think Undertaker is 100% championship material, however he keeps getting beat by slow assholes like JBL or greens like Randy Orton or Heidenreich

Aug 4 2005, 04:07 PM
Ummm... when you say beat, Im sure you mean by interference, because god knows he hasn't lost clea since wrestlemania last year.
could he hold the title, yes, but that would just be another old guy holding down up and comers, which would not hold the business in the best stead for the future. they need to establish ore stars, not give the belts to ones already established who don't need it.
Although I wouldn't mind seeing him in a title match at Mania, as he has only been in 1 in all his years.....

preliminary discussions regarding the Hogan-HBK angle, The Hulkster suggested that Shawn Michaels perform his signature "Sweet Chin Music" on Nick Hogan, either at Summerslam or during the build-up on RAW. Shawn Michaels, however, nixed the idea.
Rejecting the angle was seemingly not a difficult call for Shawn Michaels, who had two key objections. Although HBK has been assigned the role of heel in the storyline, Michaels was not interested in a move that would get him over as a very strong villain. Additionally, he felt that such an added extra would not be necessary in building up the match, as their career legacies are enough to create a dream match. Since it was there first time wrestling, he wanted the magnitude of "Icon vs. Legend" to prevail over specific storyline items.

It’s well known now that WWE have been keen on bringing back Bret Hart to WWE, however Hart has declined each one. According to The Torch, reasons for him rejecting the offers are down to his general concern over how the 1997 Survivor Series swerve will be portrayed.
Bret told Between the Ropes radio last week that he doesn't want to participate in a documentary that creates the impression that "reasonable people can disagree" or "there are two equally valid perspectives" on the controversy.
One source says he can't imagine what more WWE could do to facilitate reconciliation. "He knows the door is open," says the source.
In the interview, Bret did not hide the fact that he misses certain aspects of the business and wishes he could wrestle people such as Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and Eddie Guerrero. However, he also revealed he doesn’t miss the bumps, especially being dropped on his head, as well as hotel rooms and car rentals. He also revealed that both Edge and Chris Benoit keep in regular touch with him.
Hart didn’t rule out the possibility of working for TNA, however did sat he is enjoying life after wrestling with his new wife.
