I hear it's a very ground based style, not very high impact, but it does work up a sweat.

This conversation reminds me...
I tried to play Smackdown VS RAW a couple of weeks back...just couldn't get into it. Trying to play season mode is just painful - it's largly thanks to the WWE's stupid belief that the only way to get people to watch the shows is to throw in as much sex as they can...THQ followed their lead, and the first several months of the game just see my character on a horny crusade through the women's lockeroom.
I would have loved it if once, just once, I'd had the option of saying "Honey, you're nice to look at, and I'm sure it'd be great...but I'm here to wrestle, ya damn hoe."

Of course...... But I believe the next smackdown game will be better....
You create a wrestler, spend all your time on velocity... and then get told creative has nothing for you, and get fired....
Can't get a better simulation then that...

..... Did i mention i watched byte this this week... and Arn Anderson was asked to list his best 5 stars of today....
he mentioned....
Benoit, Angle, HHH, Undertaker and shawn michaels......
But then went and said he thinks JBL could slip into there somewhere....

The only way I could see JBL making it on that list is if he was only there to shine up Benoit's boots for him.

I thin he based it on "star power" rather then ability....
But then again how the hell is JBL star power? I could of sworn Jericho was a bit more of a star then he is, but no matter.....WWE like to ignore him anyhow.

The reason we can't enjoy wrestling anymore, is because were not given wrestling.
Were given
- Diva Search
- Battle of the Bands
- Midget matches
- More Diva Search
- Edge vs. Kane 28171383
- Masterlock Challenge
- Even More Diva Search
- John Cena music video

The reasons I don't enjoy wrestling, is that they are spending all their time trying to curb ratings losses, and not concnetrating on the product itself..... (Diva Search and such)
But it is good to know wrestlers also come up with lame storylines, as Rey mysterio is supposedly behind his and eddies current storyline.....
Talon
Aug 6 2005, 12:06 AM
Wrestler's we must remember aren't writers. We should have experienced bookers and wrestling story writers at the helm, not people who've never seen wrestling, and not neccessarily the wrestlers themselves, although I don't mind their porffessional imput.
Subtemperate
Aug 6 2005, 12:09 AM
Agreed....
Although Arn Anderson came up with the four horseman, I guess they can have ideas, but not actual flow chart of events

*Gene Snitsky idea of imput*

While WWE.com quickly responded to the rumors of Chris Jericho leaving WWE by posting news of the wrestler signing a contract extension, its efforts have not done anything to calm the speculation. According to sources close to the situation, even though Jericho signed a short-term contract extension, he continues to sit on a long-term deal and, as of right now, will be taking some time off this fall.
Sources report that Jericho is after some time away from the ring to recharge his batteries, spend time with family, work with Fozzy and investigate possible Hollywood opportunities. What is not on Jericho's agenda, at least at the moment, is negotiating with TNA. Although the occasional source will speculate that talks could pick up, there isn't yet anything to even suggest the possibility of Jericho working with TNA. Virtually all believe that Chris Jericho will return to WWE; few, however, know when that return will take place.
On this week's Byte This, Chris Jericho interestingly vented some of his WWE frustrations, despite the fact that they were not strongly connected to his feud with John Cena. Despite being very respected as a strong talent, there are those who feel Jericho, in addition to having an inflated opinion of himself, tends to be overcritical of the creative process.
Chris Jericho has reportedly saved enough money to make time away from the ring an easy possibility, but there are some who feel the possibility of Jericho and WWE coming to terms on a long-term deal is not yet out of the question. In all likelihood, however, Jericho will be taking a hiatus sometime after Summerslam.

We've seen Cena Vs Angle a million and 1 times.....Although it's a good match with fast paced action every time, I just think that Jericho Vs Cena would be better. The Jericho-Cena feud has been lasting about 4 weeks now, and to suddenly throw in Angle to start another feud is just wrong-footed.I mean, how the hell are they gonna think up a feud like the Jericho-Cena one in a matter of 2 or 3 weeks?

Hogan is a terrible wrestler, I'll use his match as a toliet break, considering how old he is, it shouldn't last that long.
Matt Hardy VS Edge & Cena VS Jericho, thats what I'm looking forward too. Hopefully Hardy and Jericho will be able to carry Edge and Cena.

Out of all those listed I only really liked Billy Kidman, so I don't think im missing much.....
...Considering Vince took the title off London this past week becasue the moves are too dangerous.... he wants him NOT to use the 450 spalcsh or shootign star press as his finisher.... great...

Its because there are definately two types of fans currently inhabiting this board. The sports entertainment fans such as the Hogan, JBL fans etc and the wrestling fans, such as those who hate Hogan and prefer Angle and Beniot.
The two groups tend to like totally different wrestlers.

Paul London hardly ever seems to get title matches on the PPV...... so.... it wikll probably just move to heat or something....

nunzio cheated to beat paul london, nunzio got a friend by his side name vito, vito was just standing in the ringside looking harmless. When paul london was about to do his finishing move nunzio's friend vito interrupted the referee while paul london came down the turnbuckles then vito threw a weapon to nunzio without the referee and paul even notice it.Nunzio smash the weapon on paul's head then won the title.Pretty smart move made by nunzio and vito unlike other wrestlers try to help their buddy win a title but they just get caught by the referee
