Several backstage sources, both on Michaels’ and Hogan’s side, have said that there is some real tension between them, and that the two just don’t like each other. A lot of people are worried about Hogan and Michaels making shoot comments on each other, which some backstage felt Michaels has already done, especially during his promo on RAW.

There has been a lot of paranoia backstage over one particular comment that Michaels made during raw, where he said “You’re just one move away from your star being snuffed out, just ask Bret Hart.” Some feel that this was a message to Hogan, saying that if he tries to play hardball on the finish of their match, Michaels could swerve it.

The word “screw job” has been thrown around regarding the confusion over the finish of the match. Although any type of real life screw job on Hulk Hogan is extremely unlikely, it may be used as a storyline to further push the angle between the two. Nonetheless, with all of the tension between the two, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.

Backstage Matt Hardy's recent WWE return has been the subject as of late. One wrestler was quoted saying, "That's the typical Vince McMahon. He'll tell you,''My mistake' and talk you into coming back, then as soon as you sign, it's like, ''F-- you, I own you for two years' and he makes you miserable." Another wrestler added, "Hardy has too many enemies in power who have to be proven right about the decision to fire him in the first place. He has no chance."

- WWE officials still hold him in the same regard as they did last year. Hardy is still seen as a mid-carder who could potentially move up the ranks given time. One source backstage was quoted saying, "He may move up to the next level, but not if he cuts too many promos like that first one."

Chris Jericho's status with the WWE has been under much scrutiny as of late. As of right now this upcomming PPV, SummerSlam will be his last match with WWE.

Speaking of Barry Bloom, because he has worked closely with Jericho in the past, there is some suspicion that Jericho may end up working for TNA in the somewhat near future. "If there's anything to the speculation, it's a very well kept secret," says one backstage TNA source. "if Jericho were planning to jump, he's saying all the right things to make sure WWE treats him as a top star on the way out."

Anyhow, even if he did rule TNA.... would anyone be able to see it?

Well they got a Spike TV that starts October 1st, and can be seen in North America, so if TNA could get enough advertising and show off it's own talent not old WWE tanalent that can't work anymore then they could become popular.
