I would think that TNA would need to get popular enough to be able to pay like the WWE does, or has, to attract many top talent.....
SOme may go because of their treatment, but many would stay...especially if they had already been to the top.....

Whether it's referring to a "dark match" as a "lights-out match," not knowing about the Katie Vick storyline or asking about how wrestlers get the fake blood to continue pouring, the writers are perturbing wrestlers with their lack of pro wrestling knowledge.
I don't think anyone would want to know about the Katie Vick storyline

There is an article on TV.com on Brock Lesnar's WWE return. It reads as follows:
"In his starting year in the WWE, Brock Lesner has made an impact. He's already a 3-Time WWE Champion and still the champion. Brock Lesnar was a part of Ohio Valley Wrestling before transferring over the the WWE. He got his rep by beating The Rock and Summerslam 2002 and becoming the youngest WWE champion of all time (next to The Rock). Brock Lesnar is 6'4, 295 pounds of raw power, peed, ...Continue." In addition to that, under "Upcoming Appearances" it says listed at the top "WWE Pay-Per View: SummerSlam 2005; Sunday 21 August, 2005."
It would be really cool if Brock interferes with the HBK vs Hogan match, because that would get so much heat

But not as much as some of the strong style German suplex's in the Smackdown games, and I refer specifically to the one were the suplex ends with the opponent landing on his hand after being thrown half way across the ring.

Yeah and thats why I don't like the WWE "safe" style. It really holds alot of guys back and in my opinion is unessecary if you hire talented guys that know what they are doing. Steven Richards was injured twice, TWICE, by Chris Masters, it just shows that you can have a toned down style and still get injured if you hire jolly green giants. Also I heard that the WWE has banned top rope moves that involve rotations, thats just getting silly.
Talon
Aug 18 2005, 06:16 PM
I don't mind safe as in no King's Road or to much Strong style as they can really mess up the guys. Look at King's Road style for example, those guys only wrestle once very few months the matches are that dangerous. However the WWE's safe style is nuts, its not avoiding toning down on dangerous moves, instead its just restricting everything barring clotheslines.
The WWE should learn that wrestling is a physical sport, and this mommy-coddling is being taken to far.
AtticusBlueprint
Aug 18 2005, 06:31 PM
Yup, but I think the problem is the WWE is running the well dry on finishing moves. I mean does every big guy have to use the Big Boot as their finishing move or how many guys have used the Complete Shot in the past few years. I don't even know what Carlito's finishing move is, I don't even think he has one, beside a roll up with handfull of tights.

Indeed not Beniot vs Angle, but still fantasic, partically after the rubbish WWE has been tossing out lately. It was so weird hearing the fans shouting 'This is awesome' at points you know the WWE fans would be either silent or shouting 'Boring!'

Yup, I love that move, it looks even better when he does it off the top rope, I'll try to find that match too. Most of my computer space goes to the tons of matches I've downloaded. AJ Styles is good at taking bumps, his major flaw is his long term selling and lack of mic skills but he is still young and I think he will work on that.

Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels

WWE Champion John Cena vs Chris Jericho
“Jericho has been there multiple times, but Cena is fresh and he wants this win bad. If the crowd has anything to do with it, I’ll have to go with Cena.”
World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. JBL (No Holds Barred Match)
“That’s a tough one. It’s hard to think JBL will ever lose a match like this, but I’ll still go with Batista, he has the mindset he learned from Evolution and he’s just so gosh-darned powerful.”
Matt Hardy vs. Edge
“When you’re right, you’re a tough man to beat, and I think Matt Hardy is probably right in this matter.”
Randy Orton vs Undertaker
“I pick Randy in a heartbeat. He’s had a lot of time to think about and train for Undertaker. That WrestleMania 21 loss really set Randy back, but he’s ready now. Undertaker’s legend is incredible, but Randy is ready.
Kurt Angle vs. Eugene
“Angle all the way. I don’t think it’ll take him that long.”
Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero (Ladder Match)
“I think the seventh time (against Mysterio) might be the charm, but look at what Rey’s fighting for. I’ll go with Rey.”
Chris Benoit vs. Orlando Jordan
