maybe he wont have that Asai DDT as his finisher...
maybe the dragon sleeper???he did that a total of zero times during his run in WWE

From NoDQ.com:
| QUOTE |
This was in the "Indies" section of Bryan Alvarez's Figure Four Weekly newsletter. You can subscribe at WrestlingObserver.com:
I must have gotten fifty thousand e-mails about this guy named Mr. Clean who sent out a challenge to Ric Flair: "As far as I’m concerned, Ric Flair has no business talking trash about people that simply have a different style than he does. But then again, ‘trash’ is a word that fits Ric Flair well. That’s where I come in. I think it’s time that the wrestling fans find out who the TRUE dirtiest player in the game is! If Ric Flair has the guts, ‘The man behind the shine’ and ‘The Nature Boy’ can finally settle the score! I’ll be more than happy to mop the floor with that banana-nosed bastard!" The best part of this was the signature, which I am not making up: "Mr. Clean, Mr. Clean!" This was the most entertaining thing of the week for me, because way too many people took it way too seriously. First, there was the group that apparently believed this was a real challenge and were forwarding it to every single person in their address book. Then there were the people who got way too bent out of shape about it and were writing nasty e-mails to everyone who was forwarding it around. Somewhere, Mr. Clean, was laughing. |
For anyone who doesn’t get it, NoDQ created a CAW wrestler in SD5 called Mr. Clean to beat up Rick Flair for what he said about Foley etc. They posted the match on the site for DL. However, a lot of people seem to have taken the challenge serious, not realised it relating to a video game, and spread everywhere that some indy guy has challenged Flair.
…. How, stupid.

Watching Smackdown since the roster split has not been as enjoyable as before for one simple reason, Michael Cole has become more ridiculous and arrogant. At least when Jerry Lawler was commentating with him, he was kept in line being ribbed about looking like something out of N’Sync. Sadly Tazz has proved to be a very poor version of Lawler. If I were running the WWE I would still have Lawler on Smackdown! Cole was so much bearable when Lawler was around and Smackdown was a more entertaining show. I am a firm believer that a commentary team can make or break storylines, wrestlers and carry you through some awful borefests.
It was Lawler’s heel commentary that helped put HHH/DX over in 2000, made the nWo even more irritating for Cole and JR to stomach and help put over the likes of the heel Undertaker at Wrestlemania X8. They are just some instances where the King has helped to make it entertaining by pissing off the face commentator (JR or Cole).
I can’t help feeling that Smackdown would be so much more entertaining if Lawler was there to commentate on the Smackdown heels such as JBL, Booker T and Dupree. I can remember just before Dupree went to Smackdown that the King was raving on about his dance. Tazz just doesn’t have the same effect. JR would also be very irritated by JBL’s arrogance and would be rooting for Guerrero big time. Lawler would be pro-Angle while JR would be the opposite. Basically Cole and Tazz suck as a commentary team and ruin Smackdown storylines and wrestlers with their stupid and unfunny comments. They just smack of desperation. Wrestling fans are renowned for hating Cole, if anyone out there likes him, email me, I’d love to know why!
Remember when Austin beat the crap out of him in 2001? The fans were cheering Austin and I was one of them! It was one of the best moments in wrestling history. Seeing the worst play-by-play commentator getting the holy crap kicked out of him was so enjoyable. I’m only regretful I didn’t tape it. Pity he doesn’t get beaten up every often. If they had a PPV where it was guaranteed that Michael Cole was beaten up I would pay every single time!
Cole and Tazz are incapable of coming up with new things to say about established stars such as the Undertaker. Terms like “Phenom” and the “Deadman” were invented long before Cole was out of diapers. I preferred it when Cole was just doing backstage interviews and getting humiliated by The Rock for his two dollars suit. In that capacity Cole fit in well, not as a legitimate commentator that we are supposed to take seriously. WWE are going to be in serious trouble when JR retires.
I know I have blamed Hardcore Holly for failing to put over Mordecai but Cole and Tazz have to shoulder some of the blame aswell. They were hopeless at conveying how menacing Mordecai was. They kind of ruin the spooky aura when they interject with words like “Wow” and “humongous” or what about Tazz’s favourite “Off the hook”. Pathetic Tazz and I’m beginning to think you should have retired your overweight ass gracefully rather than continue to put on pounds feeding us with your verbal diarrhoea.
I really enjoy the RAW only PPVs because at least I know I’m paying for 2 hours of JR and Lawler. Lawler and JR have been instrumental in putting over the likes of Eugene, Orton, Christian, and the new Trish Stratus. Lawler has been accused of being disrespectful towards the women’s division but I don’t see it that way. He’s speaking for a lot of fans that will always just see women as candy pieces and nothing more. I don’t see them that way but a lot of fans to. Lawler is catering for that audience and JR is catering for those who take the women seriously and respect what they do in the ring.
Tazz really annoyed me during the Brock Lesnar era when all he could say every time was “here comes the pain”. He really wore that phrase out, not that it was any good to begin with. It really angers me when I read this tripe on the net that some people out there are beginning to warm to Tazz and Cole, that they think they have gelled and become as good as JR and Lawler. What substances are these people on? They’ll never be in JR and Kings league. In fact they’re not good enough to plug in their microphones.
Till next time, David david_long@campus.ie |
Now I really don't like any of the commentators right now, and they all have there flaws if I was gonna pick the 2 best it would be JR(though he does ramble alot and usually calls the wrong moves) and the Coach.I hate Micheal Cole and Lawler,
Cole is just plain stupid most of the time and the best Lawler can do is yell puppies.
Tazz,Al Snow,Bill Demont(sp?) are all not that funny, but they were wrestlers before and know how to call the moves, and Bills turning point thing is creative because it makes the matches seem more realistic.Well thats my 2 cents
Talon

I actually like Taz, plus I’m beginning to like Coach (did I just say that?!

Yeah Cole sucks, but he annoys me less than the RAW team.

As for the commentators...
J.R. - Can't stand him. Although it's true he does get the most emotional of the lot, he's been using the same metaphors, and calling the exact same match night after night, for twenty odd years. I also don't like him as a hoss pusher, but that's another matter.
The King - some of his lines are funny...but he's gone way too far into the realm of "puppies!" for me to take him seriously.
Cole - Has the potential to be either half decent, or make the most stupid calls you can imagine

Also needs to learn the difference between a northern lights, and a fisherman suplex.
Tazz - I'm liking him actually...he varies his game a lot, manages to work on a heel face or neutral angle depending on what suits, and brings out quite a lot of funny lines. Probably my favourite of the guys right now.
The Coach - the coach is great

Gotta love the coach
Al Snow - Haven't heard much of Al commentating...but I suspect he'd be good. He's a naturally funny guy, and obviously knows more than his fair share about wrestling.

J.R. - annoying...but he makes good BBQ sauce.
King - Puppies!!!!!!!
Tazz - Funny...and...hes just a great commentator
Cole - as Jericho once said ...he is a "Frosted haired Jackass"
Coach - just annoys me...
Al Snow - Makes fun of Coach, so...I like him

Joanie "Chyna" Laurer was a guest on Howard Stern today and provided some very interesting details. Teased about her masculinity from start to finish, the former WWE wrestler claimed that X-Pac had already made the decision to return to WWE when he gets out of rehab. They recently broke up due to X-Pac's decision, and she claims that HHH got him back into WWE. |
Hate to brake it to you Chyna, but just cause you have issues with WWE does not mean X-Pac should throw away his career in some stupid act of support. Also, one of the few smart things HHH has done in a while, hope he goes to SD and gives the cruiserweight league new life.

| Additionally, Chyna released news that she and X-Pac apparently have a sex tape that she is willing to release. However, she fears that due to X-Pac's likely involvement with WWE, the tape's release may be blocked. A representative from Steppin Out Magazine called and claimed he heard their sex tape was hot. |
Again Chyna, hate to brake it to you, but is Sean's on that tape he has as much right to stop of publishing as you do to sell the thing. You might be willing so sell your body to X-rated mags and video distributers, but X-Pac probably doesn't and you can't force it on him. Guys have rights, you should know that, you used to be one.

lawler and jr can make a bad match look decent, a decent match look great and a great match look PPV-worthy. granted, the whole puppies thing is pretty annoying, but that's usually one small part of the whole show. when they're actually calling matches, they compliment each other very well.
jr: look at that batista, i've never seen anyone more well proportioned at 317 pounds.
lawler: well i never quite got up to 317, but...
as individuals, i'm kind of tired of the puppies thing from lawler and when jr mixes up the names of the guys having the match he's supposed to be calling, but as a team i think they are the best there is.

I can only say that I am deeply hurt by what she said about my Me as far as the status of our relationship and about where I am at the present time. I love her more than anything in this world & I have never given up hope that one day we could find happiness. I recognize My part in what has gone wrong in our relationship. I wish I could change the past. I can only work towards the future. I will say that I think it was wrong of Joanie to publicize the fact that I am in treatment at this time. I am in no way ashamed of being here. Paul Levesque & Vince McMahon care about Me enough that they have paid for Me to be here at Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta, Georgia which is the best drug treatment center in the country. I have not worked for WWE in 2 years so the company can’t pay for it , thus they are paying for it out of their own pocket. This they are doing for Me with no expectation that I will actually return to the ring.
I have commented on my relationship with Joanie in the past on here, but I will not respond to what she said about Me being a “druggie” other than the fact that I need to be where I am right now in order to be able to make her happy and also provide for my children. I am no longer married, but I still have two beautiful children that I love dearly. I need to be able to provide for them. I need to be able to provide for Joanie. Most of all, I need to be able to feel good about myself again. I love Joanie Laurer more than life itself. I can’t express in words how much I hurt right now after learning of her comments on Howard Stern this morning. I am not angry. I only want to make her happy. As far as the this sex tape is concerned. I personally could care less if people see the tape in question. It is something I refuse to be ashamed of. It is actually very funny & in no way obscene. It is something I could never be ashamed of because it is a product of true love. So if anyone has a problem with it then I can only say that is their problem. Yeah...but how long did it take Eddie to GET that push?

(Chavo likely got it because he's Eddie's nephew, and Rey....well, Rey's had tv time...can't say he's really had a push).
Vince just seems to take a great deal of time before he puts faith in anyone who isn't home grown talent. But we've really gone into that already, and there's no reason to rehash it...I honestly don't know why he feels that way though
You know, I've had the urge to watch WWE less and less lately...nowadays, I watch downloaded indy stuff and enjoy it far more, even if it's guys I've never even heard of before (If I'm lucky, I can find some stuff with CM Punk or Steve Corino on it

)....the WWE's just gone too far with the lame storylines and the pushing of human crap for me.
If Bradshaw loses the title, I might consider watching Smackdown on a weekly basis again....RAW's still worth watching though. In fact, having just watched it tonight...I feel much the same way I did last time I saw Randy Orton in a main event on RAW: He made a mediocre show worth watching.
After enduring Triple H making jokes about farting, and twenty minutes of the show lost to a bunch of girls in short skirts who we'll probably never hear of after this crap is over, Randy and Edge put on a really good match

Which is weird, because I was expecting Edge to stink the place out
Does take me back though to how I can't understand why the smarks give Randy such a hard time...yes, he's young and green...and yes, he's been booked very favourably...but he works hard, and for his age he's putting on some really standout matches. What's not to like?

He's also exceptionally pretty. But that has nothing to do with this

As reported earlier, Chris Benoit will not wrestle Triple H at this year's Summerslam event. Instead, it will be Triple H vs. Eugene in one of the RAW main events on the show.
The second RAW main event will be Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title. We are being told by reliable sources close to the situation that WWE is very interested in putting the title on Orton, and the plan right now is that Orton will indeed win the belt from Benoit at Summerslam.
WWE feels that this is the right time for Orton, and they will be putting a ton of pressure on him by having him defeat Benoit. There is a lot of feeling that this will do great things for Orton and the WWE, as The Rock was also in this sort of situation when he was given the belt, and he was able to grow into his role of being a larger than life superstar because of that opportunity. |
