I have this friend that has a physical effect on me . Yes she is a female and I have allready cancelled out the lust factor. She seems to posses some sort of power about her. Every time I am near her I feel an energetic influx in my physical and emotional being. Depending on the duration of the encounter. The longer the time the more I feel the effects of the power in the form of withdrawls for the lack of a better term. The only thing that makes sense to me is that it's magnetism. I believe that everyone has some magnetism due to the electrical make of the human body. All electricity has + @ - poles. Is it possible that the average % of people transmit one or the other and just a few are opposite? This falls back to magnetism where opposite polls attract. This could be why I feel a physical response to the contact. In the contact period the attraction from opposite polls would excite all molucles contained in both parties. Just like trying to join 2 magnets together, its the excitement of the molucles that produce the energy to either attract or repel. That's enough for now with the exception of telling you that I have been close friends with her for over 20 yrs.

Sounds to me that you are fooling yourself and are in fact madly in love with her! I have a very similar sensation with my man and him with me. It is indeed a very strange but wonderful feeling. A connection.

I think a good question would be, do a lot of people seem to feel this way around her or is it just you? If you alone experience the magnetism then it must be love..
If other people around this woman feel positive and charged than maybe you're on to something..

Well I have not seen this with others people but I seem to make things become magnetic randomly. Some times I will be touching some metal and then it starts to stick to other metals. For example I was eating and my knife and fork stuck together. I raised the knife into the air and the fork followed spinning in the air. This almost made a bus boy drop some plates as he was walked by. I don't like eating out......

Hey chrisdrums, I know exactly what your talking about. I know this girl that has the exact same affect on me. Whenever Im close to her, I feel emotionally , physically energized, its kinda bizzare. I find I have to be fairly close to her, within a 3 foot range, but the closer I get the stronger the effect is. This girl, is honestly just a friend, I already have a gf that I love so i know the effect is definately not love or even lust. I think your pretty close with your explanation.

All things osccillate, atoms, objects and even people. And ever person has a different electomagnetic oscillation. I think you just found someone whos oscillation resonates really well with your own.

I think the opposite is also quite possible and that you may come across people you dont wanna be near, simply because their biofield has a negative effect on your own. Although that has never really happened to me.

There are several people that experience this feeling, including her kids, so as I said before I have ruled out the lust factor. And yes the feeling does have a proximity effect. She also seems to be able to somewhat predict and control the outcome of things. I'm not sure if this relates to the magnetism or if the magnetism is merely a side effect of something greater.
As far as feeling her aura, what exactly is an aura? could it be the lines of magnetic flux ? such as in a transformer, this would seem to explain the proximity effect. And what if this is a smal part of a larger picture? how does she have the ability to control and see future events. Let me give you an example of this ability, her boyfriend planned and went on a weekend trip without telling her anything about it until it was time to walk out the door to leave on the trip. This of course pissed her off. The whole weekend was one disaster after another with nothing going right. When the trip was over her boyfriends travel companion ask her if she had anything to do with the misfortunes that they had encountered. This was also her friend and he too knew of her abilities. I know of several more instances similar to this one that have happened, so I don't believe that you can pass it off as coincidence.
So how is she able to affect people in this way?, is magnetism or what?

I know someone who has this type of power over me(and I over her, apparently) We dated in high school for 4 years, she was a grade below me. When i graduated in 2000, i move to Va for a little while. I came back and she was gone =( .

I ran into her about 6 months ago, and the pull was still there. But she didn't want to even remain friends because this "power" scared her to much.

Maybe it's just her charm and personality. You know how some people are just warm to be around? I've known maybe 2 people like that, and when I've been around them, I feel very drawn to them but not in a sexual way either.

Maybe she'e just such a warm and caring person, that your response to that is something physical, magentic as you say. Have you ever told her she has this unique effect on people?
