I think the proposition is clear . I think a hobbies section is needed in this forum . I know we have quite a few sections already ( maybe you could make is a sub section of general discussion like jokes/puzzles/humor )

I believe it is needed because whenever a topic on card games such as magic the gathering or video games such as final fantasy , metal gear , ect . come up they always end up in computing / internet , world of the bizzare , general , or jokes puzzles and humor . If you were to look at some of these topics you would find that they really deserve a section of their own and do not belong in the sections they are placed in .

thats my 2 cents anyway . Maybe everyone else disagrees .

'Hobbies' would be a nice touch to the Off Topic area. Yes.

thanks mc . It would be nice if this could actually happen ... you see ... I want to make a thread that really doesnt belong anywhere . I could possibly put it in general ... but the deire to make it was the final factor that made me believe this was a good idea .

Not to mention that all things concerning console games have been discussed in the computing and internet section even though they are only slightly related since those threads have no where else to go .

I think it would be a good idea as well to add to Xeno's list I'd like to see an honest to goodness D&D thread that lasts more than a day....
