
Mexican school kids might be needing bigger lunch boxes if the latest record holding sandwich sets a trend!
Bakers in Mexico City worked together to make a 3,178kg cheese, ham and lettuce sandwich, which measured three and a half metres on each side.
Mexico's largest bread company, Bimbo Bread, who led the effort, said the sandwich was "a pride for Mexico".
The giant sandwich, made on Saturday, beat the previous record, set in 2003, in Birmingham, England.
