Thousands of people have joined a demonstration in Paris Sunday to protest recent acts of anti-Semitism in France.
French activists, artists, and politicians took part in the march.
However, the demonstration was divided into separate sections as a result of a disagreement among human rights groups, with some wanting to extend the theme to all forms of racism, not just anti-Semitism.
The march in Paris comes after a rise in attacks on Jewish people and property, including the desecration of a Jewish cemetery in Alsace and tombs of Jewish World War I soldiers at Verdun.
