If you have ever seen a UFO with your own eyes, not on TV, please give a description of what it was like.

there are a couple times when i caught a glimpse.
once when waking from the local mall to the subway station with my (ex)girlfriend. i saw an object come out of the bottom of a large cloud, i tried to point it out to her but she could not see it. as i tried, the object rose verticaly and re-entered the cloud at the top.
another time, while i was at work, i caught a glimpse of a silver object going very fast. it was in my view for all of about a second before it went over a layer of clouds. *that morning there had been several ufo reports here in baltimore md. as well as a traffic helicopter reporting unusual 'luminecent clouds'.
finally, while on a cigarette break at my job, i saw what i thought was a plane, but it was far too high up. (there is an airport nearby and any plane you see going in the direction this object was going would be landing) as i looked at it i thought to myself, could it be a bird? as i thougt it, the object suddenly seemed to be flapping.
i stared at it for quite some time. about a minute before it went out of my view it looked like it turned on a light, it glowed very bright red and stayed that way untill i could no longer see it.
I've seen one once at school, but while I was watching it I was in a trance or something, and as I watched it I thought, "Oh, a UFO."(it took me a couple seconds to realize what happened.) so the memory is kind of fuzzy.
i added a 'maybe' because just a couple nights ago i saw a white streak zoom across the sky. it was most likely a shooting star of sorts but i saw it for about 10 seconds so it was moving pretty slow!

Yes,i have seen UFO's before.....quite a few of them as a matter of fact.The most memorable time was at the drive in with hubby and kids....we all saw it,hubby was yelling out the window "what the F is that?"....it was hovering silently,was low enough to see windows/portholes/whatever on it.The kids used to draw pictures of it when they were alot younger.

I was with my counsin and we were just standing around outside my place. We were chatting and I decided that we should go see our other cousin. As we were walking ,I looked up at the stars. It was a clear night, you see could every star in the sky....It was nice.... Anyways, I saw what looked like to be the noth star but, it was on the opposite side of the sky. I was all lke, " look, look !!!", pointing.. It was moving slowly acroos the sky.... We were outside our cousins place and he came outside to see us . he saw that we were just queit and looking up so he look ed up too .. He saw what we were seeing and just watched it move across the sky with us.. The "thing" was approaching some clouds. and right before it hit the clouds, it flashed then disappeared.. Later on we say another one or two. but the first one more exciting... yepp. I know they werent satellites I know how satellites look when moving acroos the sky....

The closest thing I've seen to a UFO was when I was about 12 years old, I looked up into the sky and saw a big harvest moon with clouds passing very quickly over it. Suddenly, a silhouette of a disc shaped object passed by in the opposite direction that the clouds were going. I was thinking that it maybe was a plane, but it was going waaay to fast to be a plane.
Maaaaaaaaaybe. About a year ago I was out in my yard, it was sort of cloudy, and there was a stick-shaped yellowish light slowly moving across the sky, making absolutely no noise. I watched it for about a minute, and then it stopped abruptly, shot upwards a little ways, and went back the way it came from about twice as fast.
I'm not sure what this was, but it freaked the heck out of me.

I was travelling to an appointment across Salisbury Plain in August 2001 at about 6.30am when I felt extremely "Strange" and pulled into a layby.
I looked up and saw a huge black triangle with four lights, one in each corner and a red one in the centre. It was about two hundred feet above me, roughly 50 metres across and made no sound whatsoever. It was simply gliding along but gave a weird sort of taste/smell that is hard to describe. The hairs on my arms and back of my neck also stood on end.
I was very shaken but I'm convinced that it was of man made origin.

Sum! , my experience was quite simular to yours. It was about 20 years ago. My mom took me and my little sister to a remote place to watch a lunar eclips. We watched it from beginning to end, all night. After it was over, and the sun bagan to rise it started. These glowing objects, that looked like stars, started to move. They were flying in all different dirctions. It was absolutly amazing. I remember reading an article someplace that was based on that exact account. So, I knew it wasn't just us. AMAZING!!!

It occured one christmas night when I was but six years old. I had climbed out of bed around 3 am and decided to hide under the christmas tree to catch Santa Clause in action.
For many hours I waited beneath that tree. The smell of pine and mildew assulted my nostrils. I gazed for many hours at the many colored christmas lights. Thier rainbow hued shafts cascaded brilliantly off of the glass ornaments resting on the branches.
Just when I had given up hope, the room suddenly exploded with a brilliant flash of orange. It left me dazed and disoriented that explosion. But when my vision cleared it was not Santa who stood before me.
This being was green and stood half as high as the tree. I noticed clawed feet and hands upon a scaley hide. A forked tonque sprang from its mouth in rythmic timing, and it rested its slanty eyed gaze upon my shivering form.
Fear engulfed my pre pubescebt body. I tried, but could not remove myself from the creatures red, hypnotic stare.
Claws flashing in the pale moonlight peeking througt the window, it lunged at me. After that, there was only darkness. I awoke hours later in a pool of blood, on the cold tiles of the kitchen floor.
Not wanting to get in trouble for staying up so late, I cleaned the mess with a mop . After a few squirts of "mop n glow" and some heavy scrubbing, the mess was no longer visible.
The only evidence of my venture was a scar running across my brow , that I still wear to this very day.

About two years ago, my (then) 14 year old son and I were standing on my balcony looking at the starry sky and in the direction of a major international airport, we both saw a light kind of curve out slowly and then streak across the sky and disappear. And we don't have nothing that flies THAT fast!
I never mentioned it here before because it never really made sense to do so.
I have no video of it, no proof except my son as an eyewitness, so what was the point?
I'm only doing it now because my girlfriend and I (mainly her, I was driving) witnessed something else in the sky that was uhh... umm... odd.

I saw a UFO in Northern Ontario...Algonquin Provincial park.

Whether there was Aliens in it, I don't know
But it hovered above the lake I was on just before dusk, I was in my canoe and it raced over the tree tops about a mile away. It stopped and stood still then took off again. It stopped on a dime, instantly, which seems beyond our technology.
There were no lights just this dark colored round mass that was a bit darker then the darkening sky.
There was no sound either which made this situation all the more eerie. I told one or two people over the years but just from a speculation sort of way. Never have I claimed the object I saw to be extraterrestrial.
I just keep it to myself really......like when you see a deer in the woods and you keep it secret just so it remains your experience.
There is a Military base up there too, not to far from where I was at the time of my sighting.

I saw a UFO high in the Swiss Alps. 14 little men with hats came out and started dancing in front of me. It was at that time that I had to escape in a nearby chello case.
I think I remember seeing a moving dot of light among the stars in a clear night years ago in the UK. It stopped, changed direction (reverse) and changed again. I didnt believe what I was seeing, thinking that may be I was just too tired. It's kind of trivial and I dismissed it maybe too easily.

When I was like 8 years old or 9. I saw UFO like 3 times. I remember I saw a shiny silver little plate flying at the sky. It keep moving around going back and forth. Alot of people were like.. staring at the sky.
Technically i didnt see a UFO because it wasnt flying.. UGO then ? (unidentified grounded object?).
Anyway, we were driving back or to perth from adelaidea few years ago, when i saw (this was at night), a horizontal ring of lights from one side. It was like a stripe, with red lights moving across it from left to right. Nothing else...I have no idea what that was, and no idea why i didnt alert the other people in the car of it

Tonight or well I should say yesterday because it's now Monday morning. But NE waysz I might have seen something. It was weird we were watching fireworks we me & my family. We seen this light go up like a firework we waited to see it you know explode. It never did it just glided throught the air! It's weird because it didn't fall down like a firework go dim then dissapear or anything like that he light just glided then all the sudden like that GO OUT! It sounds like a firework, but if you would have seen it it would have looked pretty weird!
I've never seen one, but a lady-friend saw one at summer camp in New Hampshire when she was a teenager. It's a cool story.

Does anyone here remember when NASA used to provide a live video feed from a satellite orbiting the earth?.. and sometimes there would be unidentified objects entering and exiting the earth's atmosphere? The objects were bright and shiny, could move faster than any airplane or rocket, and would sometimes come to a complete stop and then take off in another direction. When people started asking questions about these objects, NASA decided to pull the plug on the video feeds, so people couldn't see the objects any more. I think that was about 20 years ago. Does anyone remember that?

That was the begining of me seeing a few more of these later in the year.

I had to share this with everyone. Besides seeing light "objects" in the night sky, there was one time that something happened to me that I will never forget in my entire life!!! I didn't actually see "it", but I heard and felt it!!! I was just about 14 and I lived in Northern California. I woke up in the middle of the night from a noise that was so loud, my bedroom windows seemed to be vibrating! I sat up in bed wide eyed, and I could hear "it" right above my bedroom.Like it was almost on the roof! It was so loud! It made this woo-woo-woo sound (best I can describe it ),and I was so scared I started screaming for my mom. I was almost tempted to look out my window but I didn't dare because I could see light shining through the curtains, and I just knew if I looked out I would see something looking back!! (Probably not,.... but I wasn't taking the chance!!) My mom never came in my bedroom, so I jumped out of bed and ran through the kitchen into the front room and into my mom's bedroom. Remember I'm screaming the entire time! I got to my mom's bedroom doorway, and although I was screaming for her to wake up, she was out cold! (This is odd for my mom because she was normally a light sleeper.) It actually scared me that she wouldn't wake up, I really thought for a few seconds that she was dead!!
Finally she rolled over and looked at me and sat up saying, "What?! What is it?!"
Then I realized the sound was no longer there! Sometime while I was screaming to wake up my mom "it" had left. That was really scary for me. I think about that and wonder, was it really a UFO? What couldv'e made such a loud sound that vibrated my windows? And why did I have such a hard time waking up my mother who normally was a lite sleeper?

Hello People, I have something really incredible to share with you. This is my first post after just joing a few minutes ago. What prompted me to join was last night's episode of "Unexplained Mysteries" I can not emphasize enough that what I'm about to tell you is factual and there's no room for conjecture or debate.I live in Mississauga,Ontario,Canada. Mississauga is a rural upscale corporate neighborhood just west of Metropolitan Toronto. On December 31st 2002,at 11: 47pm, I was coming back from little Cesar's where I had eaten a pizza. The temperature was a crisp -20, but the sky was as clear as glass, and one could observe many stars and constellations in the night sky especially over my house. I live on a quiet street that only has one or two street lamps, so it is very dark where my house is.
As I was making my way into the house, I stopped to look at the night sky one last time, out of nowhere, coming from the Northwest heading in a southeasterly direction, I watched two craft fly over my house. The reason I say "craft" was because of the altitude they were flying at. I've observed commercial planes flying over and the altitude is always much higher, due to the office towers and we have many of them. The craft consisted of 3 illuminated disks that formed a triangle, I observed two craft of this shape flying in close formation and seemed to be flying in a specific trajectory. I would say at the speed they flew over my house they would've had to be travelling at a speed of 1000 km/ph (plus). I observed no sound of engines of any type, no vapor trail,no flashing lights whatsoever.
I immediatley contacted the "Weather Network" Radio Station and a meteoroligist and relayed what I had seen. I was so in awe at that I had seen,I immedialey went on Mufon's website to post my sighting. What I came across threw me for a loop, it appeared that April 23 2000 in Scarborough (east of me) at 9pm someone saw exactly the same thing in greater detail. I would've been ecstatic if I could've contacted this person.
If that's not enough, I recently watched a show( documentary) called "Walking After Midnight" which featured Ed Asner talking about his many paranormal experiences. What caught my attention was his experience in the Signal Corps doing radar tests in New Jersey. He and several of his unit observed many objects on the radar and then went outside. It was this re-enactment that blew me away. The re-enactment showed several triangular shaped objects made up of three disks or circles moving across the radar screen,then they showed it in the sky to the best of their ability at re-creating what he saw. It was exactly what myself and the person in Scarborough saw. Then last night July 22,2004 your show had interviewed a man who again described exatly what the rest of us have seen.
This is more than coincidence, people. I'd be really interested in speaking with anyone who has seen or witnessed anything remotley close to what the rest of us have seen.
I'd also like to hear from anyone associated in way with Mufon or Nicap.

Somewhere back in the early 90's me and a friend witnessed 3 lights in the sky shaped to make a triangle, but these weren't close, they were far away and looked like stars. This 3 "star" triangle moved across the sky in formation. At first moving in one direction, then stopping and heading in another (still in formation). Then they stopped and the 3 lights all went off in different directions until they were all out of view. The entire sighting probably lasted around 20 minutes or so.

This happens more and more everyday around the world. I saw a UFO in 73'. It was a red-orange color, circular and traveled at a phenomenal speed. It darted to the left and then to the right and then presto....up up and away, out of sight. My husband and I saw this object at the airport at night.
Yes I've seen something that I cant explain! It had several lights flashing on and off sporadicly,estimated size,about 30ft long. Was half a mile away hovering just above the tree's near a farmhouse,slowy decended into a nearby vale and it had gone! ! Was it alien?donno! Woz it unidentified? Yes!
Yes definitely. I see objects in the sky and I am not sure what they are, thus making them UFOs to me. Although that doesn't mean it was from a far away planet.
Although, I did see one thing once. It was like a small white dot in the blue sky . It was quite early in the morning. I followed it with my eyes and the next second - gone! That is porbably the most likely candidate out of my "sightings" to be a spaceship from a far off planet.

When I was nine years old, one night I was sitting on the porch and relaxing, just looking at the stars (because it was a very clear night). I see this one particular "star" that was brighter then the rest. Afterwards I realized it got a tiny but bigger, then it zipped acorss to the right, then to the left, and disapeared. I didn't know what the think at first, was it a UFO? I have never saw anything move like that in my life. 
Yes I have seen oodles of them. Once we were in the car driving home with the kids. Once we were on the open road we spotted a giant orange glowing flamelike ball over Tempe az (sount of us) Well we decided to take off and get closer...we drove for 1/2 hour tring to locate it. It just kept escaping our view with all the buildings obstucting the path. Finally we could no longer see it and headed home again. I would have liked to get that one on film! 
This may end up along story but I'd like to share it.
About nine yrs ago when my 2nd child was a baby, I use to hang the washing out at night when hubby was home to watch the kids. It was a totally clear night and hubby and the kids were in the back of the house watching t.v.
As I was hanging up wash I felt something behind me, I turned and looked over my left shoulder and a large bright orange ball shape appeared, followed by a second and then a third. They were all equally spaced and dead silent. I knew hubby wouldn't believe me so I went over to the window and banged on it. He looked out then came running with the kids. The ufo's had kept on moving though the third one seemed to have slowed down, the second one then also slowed down as though waiting for the third one which then speeded up and caught up to it.
The first one by this time had moved across the sky and was now sitting still, the other two caught upto it and circled it a couple of times before forming a triangle pattern. They remained in that position for a minute or two before the top ufo shot down a beam of light which lasted for upto a minute. They all sat still and silent for a bit longer before moving off changing to a dull white and then completely disappearing from view. My now 12yr old can still remember parts of it.
We contacted a ufo group and reported it to them. I truly believe it was an unidentified flying object/s we saw that night.

The ufo's had kept on moving though the third one seemed to have slowed down, the second one then also slowed down as though waiting for the third one which then speeded up and caught up to it.
The first one by this time had moved across the sky and was now sitting still, the other two caught upto it and circled it a couple of times before forming a triangle pattern. They remained in that position for a minute or two before the top ufo shot down a beam of light which lasted for upto a minute. They all sat still and silent for a bit longer before moving off changing to a dull white and then completely disappearing from view. My now 12yr old can still remember parts of it.
We contacted a ufo group and reported it to them. I truly believe it was an unidentified flying object/s we saw that night.
I saw a UFO, it had 3 green lights in a triangle formation, it was at night and when it passed by starts you could see the stars between the 3 green lights.

Yes, indeed i have, i'm not going to state that it was an alien spacecraft or anything, i was unaware as to what it was, and it was rather freaky at the time, i'm sure the birds were acting really odd when i saw this thing, kept flying then landing in the same spots...

I knew this 'energy' was not coming from anyone near by, but rather, a devil near by. I had this feeling for several hours whilst at my friends house. After hanging out for a while with my friends in the house, my buddy Noah and I went outside for a cigarette at about 10:00pm just after dark. There were a few clouds but mostly clear skies. That night I was watching the sky closely… being very aware of the sky above me…… no sooner did I spot something on the edge of a cloud…….. I didn't think "it" was a UFO at first… it was more like a piece of dust on my eye. It was similar to the fluorescent stars that children put on their ceiling…. when you look straight at them, they are dim and barely visible… but when one looks away they become brighter in ones peripheral vision…… only this UFO looked more like two tiny shadows side by side. The weirdest thing was that it was invisible when I looked straight at it!! I had to look slightly away from it to see "it". Well, I watched ''it'' for a while….. whilst ''it'' bobbed and weaved and moved like a piece of dust on my eye. After observing all this I realized that they were watching and listening. Just when I decided to tell Noah (whom was on a cordless phone at the time), "it" shot out of the cloud at about 5 times the speed of an airplane, at this same moment I told Noah to look up and there "it" was…. Noah saw ''it.'' ''it'' was pissed off because I noticed "it". The ship looked like two lights side by side with a space in the middle. The awesome power of satan is technological... and has always been here since the time the devil was cast upon the Earth to never return to Heaven with God. Thousands upon thousands of years ago.
The age old symbol for the devil has always been a 'being' that is part animal and part human. This has been the symbol for the devil for hundreds of years. Sometimes the devil is depicted as being red with a tail and bull's horns, yet with a human body, and so on.
Most of you may agree, that the only way to have "a man with bull's horns and a tail", or a part-man, part-animal 'being,' would be to use very advanced technology such as gene-splicing, and genetic manipulation. Most would agree, that mankind would be capable of such things in the future.
So what I'm getting at here, is that it's already been done.... the 'greys' are a genetic concoction of earth life. Created, not born, and the age-old symbol for the devil helps to verify that.
In order for someone to create a hybrid, a human-animal concoction, you'd need one thing for certain, you'd need to collect DNA from humans, (ie. abduction) You'd also need DNA from whatever animals that might be "suitable" for such a "creation." The rest is probably very complicated.

I saw my only UFO many years ago. It was the evening of Nov 7, 1977, just a few minutes after 9PM. I was in college in Sherman, TX, USA, and had just finished watching TV in the community room of my dorm, and stepped outside for a walk, just to stretch my legs. I was sober and straight.
I was walking down the street, under the light of the street lamps, and the weather was pleasantly moderate in temperature, with me in shortsleeves. I had just left the college grounds a few moments before, and for some reason looked up.
I saw a grey shape directly overhead, at what appeared to be about 30 ft above the treetops, although the distance may have been greater. It couldn't have been very high though, as the light coming from the streetlamps illuminated the underside of the thing. It looked like a flying wing aircraft type shape, like a "fat boomerang". It was a flat grey, not appearing shiny at all. There were no visible lights. The street was two lanes, one going each direction, with a grassy divider and trees in the middle. The craft was wider than that, as I could not see the tips of the wings on either side for the trees. It was moving very slowly, so slowly that I could have kept up with it by running at a jog. And it was utterly silent.
This was all happening in a heavily-populated area.
Now here's the weird part.
I looked up at it, registered seeing it, then thought, "huh. How about that? UFO." Then I looked back down the street like nothing had happened, and just kept walking. Like nothing had happened. I looked up a few moments later and it was gone. It was moving faster than my walking speed, so I figured it had just flown on.
To this day, I have wondered from time to time why I reacted the way I did. No excitement, no fear, no real curiousity at the time. Why? I have also wondered if the objective at the time was that I was supposed to see it. Can't know why, if that's the case. Lots of questions, but no answers.
It was the first major oddity in a life of oddities. Maybe that was the point. I dunno.

I read your post. I think what you've got is a "keeper". That's the word a friend of mine coined for the things. They aren't demons, as I can't get rid of the thing by using the Name. But the best we can determine is that the things do work with, or maybe for, the demonic. It appears to fashion its appearance according to the person it's associated with. I think it's so that the thing can better attach to the person, rather like water filling a bowl, or perhaps like a taste bud being shaped for particular molecular shapes. My friend's keeper looks to me like an old Chinese drawing of a demon. My oldest son's looks like a shadow-Goku (from Dragonball Z). Mine looks like a heat-ripple (like you see coming off the hood of a car).
I'm not sure of the exact nature of the thing, other than it seems to arise from an additional dimension. I draw this conclusion from the fact that I always see it in the one o'clock position in front of me, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I seems to be nonphysical, as I have seen it leave through walls and such. Being in the additional dimension, this would of course be easy.
A lady friend of mine, who sees auras, registers it as a dark smudge over the person's head, at approximately one o'clock.
My friend who coined the term "keeper" sees them in his dreams, as variously Men In Black, gangsters, or human-sized cockroaches. He says that they always give off the feeling of being distinctly Other.
The bloody things are a freakin' nuisance is what they are. We can discuss it more later, if you want.

About your sighting max... If you don't know why you reacted to seeing that UFO in the way you did, you probably didn't really have a choice. The reason why you didn't 'care' about the UFO right above you, is because whomever, or whatever was in it, didn't want you to. 'Their' thoughts would have come across as your own as in the ancient stories of how the devil operates and inspires men to do things.... only it has always been done with technology.

With them there is no fear of the devil, and as it is written in the Bible..... for those who believe, you have been given all power over satan, including every other demonic being. All things are seen and known by God, and the devil and his 'crew' are held accountable for all things 'they' have done, and will do.
As in that encounter I had with 'them', before I spotted the UFO, 'they' were trying to make me think that I shouldn't tell my friends and people about the depths of the 'greys,'(the depths of satan) and were very angry with me about it. "they" wanted me to stop and still must. I turned those thoughts 'they' tried to put in my head into a way to reveal 'them' further. The only way I could have done this, is with knowing God and Jesus Christ. It might sound dumb, but without the knowledge gained from the Bible and elsewhere about God, I wouldn't have even noticed that a devil was around, an evil presence. I wouldn't have had any suspicions or anything, but would have went about my business as usual.
Max, you mention they can take any form, believe me, 'they' are flesh and blood beings.... A spirit or whatever cannot pilot a UFO, or operate machinery, and build such things, abduct people, mutilate cows, etc.

With technology, you could create something that would make someone hallucinate, and see things which are not truly there. Some forms of advanced hypnosis might even be good enough for such things. 'they' can do things such as make you see and believe that there is a house in the middle of a field, but really, it wouldn't be there. There might be a UFO there instead.
As evil cowards, and as you'd imagine a devil would be..... 'they' come for people in the cover of darkness while they sleep, or lay in bed, and use their powerful technology to manipulate and use people as they've done for thousands of years already...
It may be possible with technology, to be able to float, and float through walls and solid objects. There are legends of people that would practice Qigong, an ancient healing art, that would make people able to float, jump very high, and also float through walls and solid objects among other things. This was supposedly done without technology, though I believe it could be done with it as well.
Qigong is similar to what Jesus Christ knew in order to heal with his hands, as the main goal of Qigong is to be able to heal others with the laying of hands and other techniques. The Art of Qigong is thousands of years old.
Your friend who sees 'aliens' as gangsters, giant cockroaches, etc. is likely experiencing a form of hallucination induced by an 'alien'. Some people see owl's at the window, some see giant praying mantis, some see beetle like beings, and they even see things like giant praying mantis magically transform into other "beings." There is usually a glow around 'them', sometimes around the edges of their bodies when 'they' pull off that illusion.

We were so incredibly bored it wasn't even funny. We looked up and noticed that there were no people in the park at all and the sound of cars had drained away. There was a large black sphere floating through the orange and pink sky at about 20 mph. It had a small staff sticking out of the bottom of the sphere with a white light at the end. It was only about 500 feet above the nearby rooftops. We viewed the object for a good 15 minutes as we made our way through the park to Shane's house.

i used to be skeptical to say the least, until one day when i was taking photographs of a rainbow in our backyard with my daughters. we snapped several photos of the rainbow, and i took the card in and upoaded them to my computer for viewing. when i was scanning thru the photos , i noticed an object in the picture. upon closer examination, i could not believe my eyes.
