Hello all, I am a very new member to your group. I look forward to sharing experiences and interest with all of you. I am a very active astral projector, amongst other things, but the newest gift I have just received, is even more exciting. The past few months I have been experiencing some sort of spiritual communication. It happens at bed time, I am comfortable and expecting to either sleep or project, but I get stuck in between. I am still slightly awake, but so relaxed that I should be asleep. Anyway, I see people, visions and even hear them talk to me. Two nights ago was realy intense. A man walked to me, grabbed me by the shoulders and gave me afriendly shake. like as if to try and wake me. He then said" I just wanted to thank you". It was wierd. I just started working in a nursing home. I am a vey loving and compassionate person to any one. This started just after I started to work thier. I have always had OBE and Astral projection , for the past 20 years, 2 to 4 x aweek. This is new to me. I will be very happy to hear any input from all of you.

I have alot of experiences like that. But whether it is paranormal, I don't know. I get sleep paralysis (real scientific phenomena) a lot which explains abductions and visitations etc...

It sounds like a kind of out of body experience, but differently than you read the stories (the silver cord, and the thought of flying).

Yeah, that happens to me too. Weird, huh? For me, I just get flashes of people and scenes. Sometimes a scene will last a few seconds, but generally just flashes. Sometimes in the past, or in foreign places. But never of places or people that I know. I've even had a couple experiences where it felt like I was travelling through space. I felt a great velocity, and then when I felt like I stopped moving, I'd see the stars all around me. Is that astral projection? I've never interacted in any of the flashing scenes. That must have been cool!

Hey ouijaouija, if you get sleep paralysis all the time you're probably narcoleptic. Have you ever gotten a sleep study done?

I used to get sleep paralysis back in high school. It got so freaky that I went to see a specialist. Turned out I was sleeping too much. Despite my frank disbelief that a teenager could do any such thing, the specialist explained to me that when the body has slept sufficiently, it will automatically begin to generate the chemical (i've forgotten the name) which brings us to waking consciousness. The brain is the first organ to be affected by this chemical, bringing it into full consciousness prior to the body 'booting up'. The body usually catches up within minutes (usually with a rather abrupt jerk), but due to the time dialation effect of the mind, it often seems much longer.

heh.. im new as well but ive had vivid dreams of tomarro or like a couple of days or even 2 months time! but it lastes for 4 or 6 min and it dissapers. i had a dream where i was walking though a hallway and the walls where dark gray stone and blue torches on the walls and i walked into a door where pepole where as if in a class room but it was dark with only 20 candles along the walls. and a dragon like creature came it and i started talking in some way and alot of things started shakeing and fire was suspended around me while some things started to fight the dragon away. then i woke up and my WHOLE body was numb and cold and i looked over and something like a face almost surged though me and it was spooky to me.
also another dream i had was i was at a dessert with a beach nearby and i saw a town that looked beutiful in the dessert and then i looked over and helped pepole with no faces make a sign and they said " hes comeing " and i said " who?" they just said " you will know in time" the sign spelled out anti-crist and as that happed the beutiful town dissaperd and there was a flame! i was scared everything went black and a the letter L or D (thats the only part i cant remember on about the letter) was gold and it had a small white glow around it and i woke up with the same condions as before (PHEW!) but i have dreams where i have all my sences like im atully there. but can anyone kinda help me out tell me what you think my dreams mean ?

HI , and thanks for all the input! LILMUNKEY, I need to ask if you are a very religious person? And, if you at all have ever thought about or asked your higher power anything to do with world destruction? Sometimes, if I am worried about something or realy need to know something I will pray about it. I sometimes get a dream that will show me different outcomes of what I am asking. I cant say that I have ever had anything quite like that happen. I believe that poeple having a great sence of spirituality will have encounters in thier dreams to help direct them. Your encounters seem to be so overwhelming that you are put in a state of shock afterwords. I wish I could help you, but that is way out of my abilities. You may consider talking to some one specializing in that area. Thank you for sharing that, it is very incredible.

Great story I sometime get that visions and faces (places and people I have never seen, to me knowledge anyway), these can last several seconds and every time I open and close my eyes and new one appears. Although I do not know if this is anything paranormal, it is a little strange and there is no real proven reason for this (although there will be many people saying it's misfiring in the brain as it goes to sleep).

The other morning as I was awaking, I was still hearing voices from my dreams. So as I was awake enough to remeber this I decided to mess with it a bit. So I done this strange pushing thnk in my head and this voice came back, it said this sentance (nothing of any sense just jumbled words), the second I stopped the pushing think it stopped. I though I needed to stop as I felt it drain me. This may well be a dream and probably is due to the kind of books I read. But its still a bit strange anyway.

OK, so who thinks I need a check up? LOL

I think this is some thing that happens to alot of people. Some don't realize what it is, so they ignore it. I think it is a part of the mind that is not understood. After all most of the brain is not understood. I know for a fact mine isn't! HAHAHA! Some of it could be related to dreaming, but some may not. Most people claiming to be Mediums get thier visions and messages from a state of conciousness just before being unconcious. These leads me to believe that you could enter that space before or after sleep. So who knows?

I CANT SPELL TODAY !! BUT !!! OKIEDAY ! stuart if you could explain what it sounded like becuse ive beem doing some studying it may be a near by spirit or "thing" trying to connect with you good or bad.I FOUND A REALLY koool website about angels and stuff. Now if you really think that this is not true thats ok just know its someone that has there own opinon also did resurch and put it together. angel dictionary ^-^
umm and about that dream i wasnt even on the topic about anti crist that was the day me and my freinds went out i guess subconiously but no. plus im kinda freaked out. my mom has this "gift" if you wanna put it that way to see guardian spirits ( and no shes not a phyic or gippsy) but when she looked at me she said that i just had just energy and like things just circleing me all the time. but then i had a dream that i saw this man but they had a symbol like with the other dream but its like this one had a purpose. i was out side and i was 5 ( in the dream ) and a man give me a gutair and it looked new he was old and looked native american, then as i went to the store a boy played his gutair but it his strings broke so i gave him mine. and as i did a flashing light came and i stood next to my bed and saw my body but it feelt warm then as i woke up it was cold. All I can remember about the voice is it was male and kind of monotone (quite deep)... it spoke perhaps 10 words - which I cannot remember, but I do remember at the time I thought the words where kind of jumbled - did not make any sense to me.

i could possably be a "entitey" or a negitive spirit or even a man thats lost. but did it have any effects on you like dizzyness, slowness, etc? if you felt slower or any type of depression it could be a pychic vampire draining you and you may have heard it, but i doubt it was anything that bad if no physical symptoms showed your ok just something you picked up. NO WORRYS! Also, it would be good if you picked up some type of garlic scent also works aginst and helps more spirits that want to help come! also it be your best bet to put some insence ( Neg Champa ) around the house and get some sweet grass (dry) and burn it though out your home. toget ridd of any kind of negitive stuff around you and just pray that what ever is trying to communicate with you wont hurt you. AND ( i kno by now your like "OMG JUST FINNISH!" but.. ) next time you hear the voice try to face tword the "thing" that is talking and ask it what its it doing here and if it gives you an answer just say " has thou come for good or evil? if thy is evil please leave you are not welcome" and pray to god that it will leave. HOPE IT WORKS OUT!!!

Does incense, garlic and other herbs realy work?

yes smell triggers a arura or diffrent mood for some pepole. also it brings certien spirits around that area a small type of "blessing" the area. and garlic has a aromea that wards off vampiric spirits to drain energy from your body. all this works with the element of air now you could have water flowing sound to gain tranqullity but you have to turn everything off and lay down in a confortable spot and relax or meditate (what ever you want to do with that time) also when u have a headace and u have taken a asprin and its getting worse make sure you have everything off and put like rocks on your chakra ( root is optinal) smooth stones and just lay on the ground and sleep it works well with small annoyences. its nice when your tring to relax.

ok im being freaked out.... something is following me... but i can't tell about if its good or not... ive done everything and prayed a million times... but little things of energy that feels like a soft shock of eletricity but everythime i feel it its like something is around me ... im trying to figure out what it is ... but its there and i dont know ..... can someone try and help me....

Did this just start? Maybe some one is trying to contact you. Or you have a bad case of static electricity.

Hmm could be a piggybacker (as Robert Bruce calls them). This is when an entity attaches to you to experience your feelings and/or influence you. He states in his 'Practical Psychic Self-defense' book that the best way to get rid of these things is to walk past running water (over a river bridge, next to water pipes etc..).

I have never had this experience but this apparently is the quickiest way to get rid of them. They may well come back so you should probably prepare yourself by seeking some professional help.

Either that or it is static electricity or something like that.

atully i dont get anything ecept for soft screaming and little pricks on my soldger but its not static. once it touches it stays there and my muscicles tences. and its not anything bad becuse it hasnt really harmed me while i sleep ... just letting me know that "its" there. and ive done everything mabye its just me or something but it all ways happens around 1130 though 1;30 so ... gah... i dun know its ok i suppose but when my body tences my hand gets warm and it feels like im being pulled into something.

I don't realy think it is anything bad, otherwize you WOULD be having nighmares. Do you have any close realitives of friends that reciently passed on? Could be that some one just wants to let you know that they are there to watch over you. Has it happened to anyone else in the house? has it happened to you only inthe house?

it could be my great grandmother that mitght have pasted ... but i dont know...but i did have a dream where i was traped in a house and a gost or something was haunting me or trying to claw on me but id always doge it. also i had a dream last night where ive been somewhere... i cant remember it ... just a part where it was dark... and no one was there... but i dont know its most likely to be a spirit for good resons not bad... i walked to my bed and out of no where i felt warm so i think its ok ... but it just freaked me out. oh and if anyone has a site where it gives some insight on gostes or types of gosts that would be kool to...^-^ BUT DONT SEND ME SOMETHING SCARY ill be shocked and ill problibly get scared ( isnt that scared if its a still piture LOL )

guardian angels are pepole that are from a past life or someone in your family that has died or pasted but they look over you and almost everysingle day pepole are being saved by them like your example. but it may have been luck or not im not a expert in the area i just know alot of information (like a detetive) but that is very fortonute of you. my father and mother and ( everyone in my family) told me while i was about 2 learning to walk i walked into the street and by the time anyone noticed that i was gone into the street i was in the middle of the street and a car almost hit me but something pushed me back away from the car and my dad picked me up and ran back to the sidewalk. so yhea they exist and they guard you from some of the spirits or "gosts" that try to attack you ( well ... some depending how strong they are or how strong there will is ) but GO YOU GUFZOO! and the dream that you had from what i think ment ( putting it in lamins terms) that your mind was being attacked (your phycic mind) by something that almost made it inside of you. but you where in so much distress that "the angel" came and destroyed it. ::gets back into his rockinchair with cookies beside him:: after i was born and was sent home my mom had to stay at the hospital becuse something was hurting her stomigh. she needed to get an ultrascan and it was like 2 in the morning and noone was there to help her. so she waited untill a nurse told her " its going to be alright 4 doctors are comeing in earler. " but my mom was in soooooo much pain that after she cryed and cryed she couldnt cry anymore thats how much it hurt. any hoo she called my dad and told him to come and pick her up becuse the doctors where ignoreing her and she couldnt get any help so while she was waiting in the lobby she sat in the lobby infront of the door and just sat there and didnt say anything. a woman that was short came in and touched her hand and talked to her "lets pray" and they prayed for a short while as they held hands and when my mom opened her eyes she was gone just vanished but the pain went away. while she looked around 1second later my father walked in and she said " did you see the little woman that walked past i want to thank her" my dad said "what woman i just saw u praying by yourself." ( PHEW ) so inconclusion angels are real.

I am so pleased to see that some one is so intuned to Angelical power. I have had a few experiences with angels myself. I do not know wich ones they are, I just know that without them at the specific times I needed them, my life would not be the same. Example, I was in a horrible accident close to 10 years ago. I remember being taken into the emergency room. At this time I could see a clear, yet glowing and colorful enitiy standing over me. I heard this voice. It was telling me not to take the advice of the Doctors. It told me 2 times. It was so beautiful. It had a crown around its head, and such a soothing voice. I was so inshock over the whole thing, I wasn't sure what to think. Then this Dr, diagnosed me, he said I was going to have to lose a limb. I told NO WAY! You aren't taking anything from me! I am in perfect health to this day. My arm healed up like new, no pain or disabilities. If I would have listen to the DR. and not the Angel, My life would be Sooo much different. And I thang GOD for letting that happen!

Wow. Both of you guys' stories are amazing! I am awestruck. We're all so very fortunate. You just gotta keep the faith. I'm not sure in what yet, but it's a good thing to have! We are all living proof
