I understand the whole spam thing so we shouldn't provide links to other websites or whatever, but how come when people here advertise for our own forums, it is erased or locked? It's not like advertising for our forums is gonna take away the 7,000+ members you have!
Universal Absurdity
should'nt this be a question posed in a private message to a mod?
just wondering, considering that anyone who is not a mod could not answer your question

Maybe I should not be saying this and apologies if I am stepping in someone's boots. Hope they don't smell! original.gif

I am not a mod of this forum, so I do not know. I am a mod on other forums and it maybe likely its locked because of the huge amounts of posts that are made on here daily anyway and why should a whole thread start on someone's forum. Its not really related to the site is it. I doubt its because you are advertising otherwise the thread would be deleted, as you may notice your thread is still viewable.

Anyway you can put your forum address in your profile under homepage.

Saucy,
We are not saying that advertising other Forums is wrong etc.. But considering that yours suddenly turned into another name calling thread it was better to lock it.

Before you got hurt or felt that you were being insulted in anyway and you did the same to other people... You tend to(IMO) not listen to others points of view and if they differ thjen you get very antsy.. and the whole thread degrades into a name calling flame war.
You are by no means the only one.. but it seem you think that we have it in for you we don't now I hope that clears matters up..

Blessed be.

Having a link to your own website on your profile page or as a signature is allowed, no problem.

Thing is, this is a website, not a linking portal to sites about soccer, God, Playmobil and rye bread.

A thing I noticed is that you tend to get all worked up when things don't go 100% your way and are very eager to start whiny threads about it. It doesn't suit you.

I agree with UniversalAbsurdity: for these trivial things, please contact a moderator privately to discuss it. Do not start threads about it.
