Back to the main subject... ive been debating over what RE game i the best. Right now im leaning towards RE zero

yeah it is the best...for now. thats only until the amazing RE4 comes out!

You know, after playing through it completely recently and unlocking everything.. i came to the conclusion that it really isn't THAT good.

Thats for sure. BS can you describe the dodgin system to me?

It's a little tricky to master, but simple once you grasp the concept.
Basically, it's random with SOME control.

To dodge, you have to shoot. It's exactly the same buttons. Push aim, then fire, and if you've timed it right, you dodge.

You see, it all depends on where an enemy is to the character.

Lets do an example with DOGS.

If you aim at the dog and it is far away, you will shoot the dog. If it's close, you will shoot it. If it's at your feet, you will shoot it.
HOWEVER, if the dog runs at you and jumps, and you try to shoot it, Jill will dodge the attack and then shoot it. It's TIMING. You must time your shot properly you that you shoot just as the enemy attacks you, and you'll dodge then shoot.

NEMESIS:
If he grabs for you, and you shoot, you'll dodge. But if he is not attacking you and you shoot, you'll hit him.


So, basically, when an ememy attacks and you shoot, you'll dodge instead of shooting.

Resident evil should be a thriller, it should look like Alien or Aliens not Alien Reserection.

I must say though, I went with friend. He expected it to be great so was really disappinted, I expected to fall asleep, is I actually walked away strangely satasfied.

It's because of the Nemesis STARS growl.

i thought the movie was quite good. no where near as scary as the games tho...not sure how they manage to make a game scarier than the movie...lol

I never really considered the games scary.
True i had my fair share of jumps when lickers, dogs and zombies burst through windows and stuff.

After RE2 I became a master of picking out where they were gonna jump out at.

They games were scary, but Anderson never even tried to make the moviesscary, was to busy giving his main character Physic powers which never happened in the game and saying 'oh oh oh that would loook coooooooooooooool'

At the end of RE2 Alice was infected with a virus of course which reanimated her cells and brought her back to life.

The name of the virus? Was it the Progenitor virus that brought Dr. Marcus back to life and gave him the power to shape-shift? No it was not. Was it the T-Virus, the virus that came after the P-virus and infected the mansion, turning everyone into zombies? No, that virus created the lickers. How about Birkins G-Virus which infected the whole of Raccoon? That was the virus that Alice was infected with at the end of RE1, the same virus that created the Nemesis and gave Wesker is superhuman strengths in Code: Veronica. But it was not that virus either..

The virus was the T-VERONICA-VIRUS. Alexia Ashford had synthesised it in mid-1980's and infected herself, freezing herself. When she emerged in late 1998 she was able to control all matter with only her mind. It is this virus that Alice now carries, as she is also able to control all matter.

They didn't stray as far from the games as you'd think Talon.

As I already said, they Alexia was a monster, the final boss, not a player character.

Huh? Alexia was still quite human, she was able to change her appearance just like Marcus and the Progenitor virus.
Birkin turned into a monster because the G-Virus was not complete when he injected himself. But the T-Veronica Virus was complete, and perfected.
Alice and Alexia are no different, they have the same powers. The difference is that Alice is controlled, Umbrella holds the switch which turns her on and off. And Alexia was destroyed by Chris.

Is oit break any good in one player mode? The European version doesn't have internet access

Yes but she was still a monster not a player character (I own CV and CVX I know who she is). By the looks of things Anderson is wanting RE3 to look more like DBZ.

Oh, speaking of DBZ, there is panic in the anime community that Anderson is going to get hold of it or Evangelion.... oh god oh god don't let him kill the anime to movie convertions in the first try

Outbreak is awesome single player. I have never played online and doubt i ever will, mainly because i'm not gonna play 100 bucks to get it hooked up and another 50 a month for access fees.

No, shes the main character same thing. They can't throw anything else at her by the looks of things cause she's just make it bleed to death from afar, so their only option seems to turn Alice into the main vilian of the next one.

Wasn't that implied by the fact that the doctor who made her said 'Let her go' and then 'Activate the 'Alice' Project'. ANd then Alices eyeball flashed with the Umbrella logo.


As Anderson states it, he sees the Resident Evil as a trilogy. The first movie being before the videogames, the second being during the games, and the thrid movie closing the series after the videogames.
I'm pretty sure Alice will be the main Umbrella Bio-Weapon in the next one, may even mutate and eventually be killed by Jill.
