Man, i checked out the RE invision board like this one, and was gonna sign up, but it's FULL with idiots who still haven't beaten RE, all claim to be RE's biggest fans, and know pretty much nothing about it other than what they've played inr ecent years. It makes me angry.

i used to belong to a RE message board that was full of "hardcore" fans. i dont know how much they really knew, but im guessing enough. anyways, shortly after i joined, which was a few months before the movie came out, the board was cancelled for some reason. i never knew why, but i was highly dissapointed because that site was awosme.

I stay clear of sites with many members. Generally you'd be a noob on it and therefore no nothing of RE in their eyes, even though i probably know more than most of them. It's annoying, but if i wanted to talk to a bunch of insulting immature children who boast things for popular online status, i'd go to high school again.

Yeah it's a pretty poor prize i must say.
As i said, there could have been alot more extras in this game.
Some crappy extra costumes and a few guns doesn't really cut it.

I do not feel satisfied with the shooting range.

im a moderate RE fan, ive never beaten the games my self but have read the walk throughs and have watched my freinds beat the games, i love the story of the RE games, i really wish the movie was more game soryline based, but reading your posts, do you have to buy weapons and amo and things of the like, you no longer discover them? and ive heard that umbrella is no more and youre going to a village of people who are diseased (no more zombies?)

Sort of, yeah.
You buy weapons mostly, but some can be found too.

There are no zombies, in a sense, but there is a virus called the Plagas which is like the T-virus but different. It actually mutates the host, sometimes causing crazy huge mutations not unlike lickers or tyrants, but it's main use is slavery, controlling people. The hosts of the virus have no conciousness of their own, but are still intelligent and able to weild weapons and talk, but in a sort of half conciousness.

Basically, exactly like the voodoo zombie potions of south america. they put the drinker in a state of death-like slavery where they cannot think, see, etc for themselves but blindly follow their orders.
If you've ever seen Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom, you'll know exactly what i mean.

thats not to bad of an idea, i really wish that it was umbrellas doing though, who is responsible for this plagas, is it terrorists? i also heard that the zombies (lack of better word) can open doors and go up and down stairs, thats really awesome, really makes it that much more realistic

well, they could open doors and go up and down stairs in the later RE games, Zero, Remake, Code Veronica etc.

In this one, they're effectively human, and chase you everywhere until either you, or they, die. They just don't know what they're doing, and have no sense of pain, emtion, anything except KILL.

Save your money, appaerently the hand cannon must be brought and tuned up fully to get the most out of it. And this isn't an easy feat, it's tuneups are MAD expensive!

went up on the head and was stuck there. I fell down eventually though.

There's another one too. In the area with the first El Gigante, there's a green herb. Grab it, use it, your health will increase. Now let the El Gigante kill you, and when you restart at that point the yellow herb will be back and your health will stay increased! So you can effectively get max health at the start of the game.

i know about that glitch. they had it in the cheats section in gamespot. i was gonna try it but i guess theres no need to now, until i start a professional mode game, then maybe ill try it.

im guessing ill play through the rest of my round 2 game on friday after school, and then start the proffesional mode game. man i bet its gonna be hard. especially the boss fights like Salazar and salazars monster that he sends after you. aha that was funny when Leon was like, "your right hand comes off?"

I thought that the game could have done without that radio or the awful dialogues involved in them to be honest. Most of the time it was just gay.

i wouldnt call them awful. no they werent the best part of the games movies, but they added something. i liked some of Leons sarcastic comments, but i wouldnt listen to the radio parts again. reminds me a lot of MGS. and thats not what RE is.
