Games like Metal Arms, RF2 etc are on PS2 as well though. It lacks alot of good GC-only games. You gotta admit, it doesn't have the most extensive library.

no. that it most certainly doesnt. most games that come out for GC these days are for 1 or both of the other systems. less than half the games for it are for GC only. its kinda sad. the system has a lot more potential for great games, but they just dont make any

Man could you imagine if they made a Silent Hill game like they did Resident Evil? Even remaking the first Silent Hill onto Gamecube, even the thought is frightening.

There's lots of games i'd like to see remade.

For one, i think the Gamecube is about due for the remakes of RE2 and RE3.

oooo man, that would be super scary. imagine how intense they could make the encounters with him and how freaky he would be. i would like to see 2 remade a little more because of all the huge monsters in that game, espescially any Berkin form and the Gator

They could make almost a perfect game out of RE2. The closest any game could be to being like a movie, in my opinion.

I've heard that the new Resi film completely ruins the third game. Shame really. I feel obliged to watch it, but if it ruins the games I dont wanna.

like Burnside has said before, when you watch the movies, dont try and connect them to the games in anyway because everything will seem bad and stupid. when you watch it as its own story, then its freakin awesome.

HD, did you figure out where you had to go? I got to the mansion and had a quick look around, and it came flooding back to me. After completeing the clock puzzle, the door on the first floor by the bathrooms is unlocked. You insert the A and B slides into the projector there, wholla.

I still get ircked by this game's story. I mean, you're on a speeding train going miles and miles out into the woods, and then you stumble into a basement of a mansion, where there's an elevator that takes you to the lab from resident evil 2, and it's apparently only a few minutes walk from the other mansion where they originally set down!!
Plus Alpha team was sent in moments after they crashed. Bah.

Well lets see the train to the basement isnt that bad. The lab going to the mansion isnt THAT bad but I do agree on the team.

Yeah. The ending makes it seem like Rebecca gets to the mansion a day after they crash, even though in the Remake it's pretty much 20 minutes from when they crash to Rebecca getting to the house.

I don't know why they did that. They could have had the Remake at least going with the story of Zero, since Zero was planned almost as far back as Resident Evil 2 was made (for the N64).

Maybe they are just stupid.

Ahhhh Rebecca Chambers one of the most criminally underused members of the series. I know everyone hated her, but I loved the shorts!

Underused? She was the main character in Zero and a secondary character in 1, plus 3 books with her one of the mian characters, more than chris or jill, and an appearance in resident evil 2. She was used plenty...

... and the cowgirl costume, MINT.

Yeah buts lets face it, there was a lot of criticism of her being in 0, and her roll was minor in 1, her appearance in RE2 was a picture. As for the books... they sucked . Meanwhile look at Jill, she got main lead in RE1 and 3. Claire gor 2 and CV. Chris got 1 and CV. Leon in 2 and 4.

Barry is also rather underused, supporting role in 1, guest appearance in 3... then what? What happened to him?

Same with Sherry, I wanna know what happened to Sherry?

My biggest issue with Rebecca is that we've heard nothing from her after RE1, just how she got the mansion. I really want a game which tells us lots of info on whats going on with STARS, doesn't need to show them (although how cool would a game be if any of the past STARS members and their allies were playable ), just tell us what there doing. I mean, are Jill, Chris, Leon, Clair, Rebecca, Barry, Leon's friend from Gun Survivor (whats his name gain?), the two from Dead Aim (which I never could beat that last boss... then again... couldn'rt be bothered playing it a second time), and Carlos running around out there together, or are some of them gone into hidding and disappeared off the earth etc etc. Just so much backstory which I want to hear about

Ash Tompson. He doesn't matter, the game was seperate from the main story, it was set on an island.
Don't even care to remember the names of the two in Dead Aim. Again, doesn't matter, different story.

Barry and Leon were in RESIDENT EVIL GAIDEN, which had them on a ship with an Outbreak, part of the Anti-Umbrella Squad. After that Umbrella was disbanded, and Leon went to work for the president. All will be explained in Resident Evil 4.

So how many RE games do you think they'll make? Will they go on as lonmg as sales are good or move onto a new project?

Well RE4 is changed so much it really isn't much of a Resident Evil anymore. I dunno how long it'll go on for, probably awhile, especially since this new one has been updated to present time instead of taking place in 1998, it takes place in 2004/5, depending on if they've updated their timeline to respect the delay.

if Capcom wants RE to last for a long time, then they could make games based solely on the characters that were never played and the story isnt complete on them. there needs to be a game with Barry as the main character, there needs to be a game where Wesker is the the main character so all of the questions about Umbrella are answered, and there needs to be another updated game with Rebecca. also, it would be cool if they made a game that was based on the first STARS team going into the mansion before Chris, Jill, and the others got there.

I agree. Something like Resident Evil Zero-Two, but less lame sounding. Following Rebecca through the mansion, how she winded up where she was, and where she was when not with Chris, that sort of thing.

I think a GREAT game could be made from Resident Evil: Caliban Cove, the book by SD Perry where a group of 5 ex-STARS members assult an Umbrella base on the rocky cliffs of a cove. ZOMBIES WITH GUNS!!!! And Rebecca as the main character.

that was a really good book. i loved the part where the one dude fell into the water and that giant mutant squid thing came out. that was cool. the RE Underworld, however, would not make a very good game. that book was a little boring

Yeah. No zombies, just two guys going through 4 levels with enemies, and 3 people on the surface of the bunker shooting with Umbrella Assasin. Big whoop!

Nemesis was good!! I liked getting the Nicholai point of view, about the watchdogs and all that, it really delved into the story and made it much clearer.

yeah that book really showed just how evil Nicholai was.

Yes. The very evil man who murdered his comrades and several other survivors in the city for an Umbrella percentage. Not the Nicholai from the movie, who had a good heart, looked Irish, and died while cracking witty jokes.

Yeah he said something, everyone laughed, i thought it was lame. I don't remember what it was either though. He did crack witty one liners, like 'STAY!' to the dog after he killed it. The real Nicholai wouldn't have even given it a second glance. Pah.
