He everyone.

Over the last 2 nights my dreams have seems to be futuristic or some other reality. Some of the stuff in them seems pretty realistic to what may happen. The only influence to these dreams I can think of is the 2055 fraudulent posts last week (the guy pretended to be from the future)... although I never dreamed any of the nonsense that guy talked about.

I can only remember fragments of them, so here is the part from the first one.

My wife was talking to someone and pulled out a handheld type thing (about the 3 inches wide/high but very thin) she opened it out with about 6 folds it had sections with keyboards, screens etc.... it must have had about 12 separate folded parts that each do different things. Anyway she showed a film of herself from a few years ago on one of the screens (perfect picture). I guess these kind of things are already in production and in 10-20 years probably will have all the features of this thing (and the same size). I also remember seeing inside a transportation vehicle, it was all plastic/rubber black, kind of oval shape.... I think it was a flying car original.gif

Next dream - This one was more realistic. First I need to say that parts of this dream I was actually there in person, other parts I was a spectator. I remember being with some people I took to be my grandfather and grandmother, I was trying to place a pin inside my grandfathers eye as this helped him in someway, I also was sowing-up my grandmothers finger. Next part I remember was watching the women and her 2 children being taken away by these 2 guys, they were trying to get the women to give-up her children as she has broken a rule... I had the feeling she was having a 3rd child and this was illegal, she had to give the other ones up of face something much more severe. Anyway, the 2 guys bought her a ice-cream cone and she had to give her answer when the cone was finished. One other part of the dream was - if you did not have a car, then you could not leave the city.... there was a great divide, rich and poor. Poor people had strict rules - no medical care (hence me fixing my grandparents up), only 2 children allowed, no leaving the city (unless you had a car [which was probably unlikely in a place like this unless you where rich]).

All in all quite a scary dream, and one that may well be the truth in the future. Not a nice place ehh.

Anyone else had futuristic dreams??

Edit: fixed some typos!!

Gotta love those scenic dream camera angles and random self disappearances.

I've had very few dreams of the future. Like I've said before, many of my dreams are dull and listless with boring plots about everyday life. mellow.gif About the closest thing I've had to a dream of the future was a weird Uncle Scrooge-like dream I had when I was about 9 years old. A person walked me through my house or at least what it would have been like had I not existed. There was a strong christmas theme to it. A lot of the tables would be draped in red and green fabrics, and my family seemed very conceded and depressed. I just remember the blank look on my moms face as she played on our piano, looking at me (or my spirit so to speak) with sad and lonely eyes. Of course, I thought this was extremely mellodramatic. If I was never born, my house would be the same as it is only my family would live in an apartment in Chicago.

Anywho, back to my thoughts on the future. When I saw the movie Minority Report, the thought that ruined the movie was that the writer thought this was a realistic setting for 2025. People are in magnetic cars and predicting the future. Hmmm... try 2200. Remember, in 1950 people thought that by the year 2000, we'd be in flying cars and living like the Jetsons. Sure, we've come a long way since then, but some ideas of the future are blown waaaay out of proportion.

Time travel is possible think about it, even the theory of relativity has been proven time measurments were done on a aircraft going real fast and it showed that time on the aircraft was a few nano seconds slower than a atomic clock standing still on the ground. So in essence the aircraft went into the past a couple nanoseconds. Only thing is we havn't found out how to turn our matter into kinetic energy and back to matter so we can travel at the speed of light. Maybe even as light itself. I think we havn't but I can't figure out how to go forward in time. This method only seems to work going into the past.

Cool huh If bush wins the elections I will be a true believer. Since the way things are going now I don't think he will. But many predictions have been made that he will win the elections so just have to wait and see. It's only destiny that I read that page.

I just had to spill everything that was on my mind after reading the 2055 pages. I'm probably wrong but ohwell if i am so what if i'm not well I don't know just have to wait and see.

Edit 10:42 PM
Well I just got to thinking so far everything I've looked at tonight has something to do with time travel. The 2055 another time slip thingy 5ive days to midnight show. Gosh so many things in one night very coincidental or means something.
