This is so cool .. if its real? is it?

I've seen some sweet similar photos. It might be real, but if it isn't there definately are real one's like it. What's really cool is standing in a monstrous field on a windy day and watching the shadows of the clouds move across it.

I don't know if the pic is real.... but the event it is depicting is real.

Could someone desribe this pic to me? I'm a bit lost as to what we are looking at.

It's an aerial photo of part of the world (Europe and part of Africa) to be exact. When night comes around, the entire world doesn't all grow dar at once, but since the Earth rotates, half is dark and half is light. This is just a picture of day turning into night, but it's so high up that we can see what's dark and what's light.

the highlighted parts on the darkside, are they lights from cities??

Very nice! I thought it was Australia when i first saw it. Isn't nature a magical work of art?
