I want to learn how to see peoples' auras. Can any of you do this? Do you have any tips, or books you recommend I read on the subject?

Attending spirtualism/mediumship groups is another.
Or simply, start with trees - anyone can see tree auras - they're one of the strongest on the planet - the older the tree the better. Look for parallel levels of auras spreading outwards from tree trunks.
Trust me, it can be done. You just have to learn to look without preconception or judgement.
its like loonboy way of observeing auruas also if you really are intune with spiritual level then you can see pepoles angel guardians or energys that linger around them.
look at a persons forhead and try to look inside of them now if u start to see a white light or "arura" comeing off of them just keep most of your focus on there forhead. if you see a face next to the person try to distint some features about that person. turben,long hair,smile,tall, etc. If the person that you look at is freaked out then say " im not your stalker ! " then run away. If incase its someone you know you might want to ask them some questions about the person you saw it might be someone they know!

I think I can see them...but not everyone's. I have been walking in a mall, and just seen an unknown person surrounded by beautiful golden light. It happens to me very rarely. Don't know how I do it though, I just do...
1. Relax.
Most of the best books on that subject are out of print. I'm sure there are websites out there with different ways of doing it. Just remember one size doesn't fit all. If they ask for money...it doesn't fit at all.

After I read "The Celetsine Prophecy" I was sitting outside at my parent's house I tried to see the aura of the tree in front of me. It was suprisingly easy. "The Celestine Prophecy" is such an amazing book!

Theres a really old tree at my towns library and every time I look at it long enought I can see an aura around it, kinda like a glowy, sorta wavy, force field around it. I always thoufgt it was the sun's light but once I saw it during the night and it kinda freaked me out at first. Mabe you sould try practicing on trees and when you get the hang of it you can try other things too.

But I remember liking it the first time, so it won't be a bother to reread it.
Does it just come naturally after a while, or do you always have to be concentrating in order to do it? I'd hate to become that weird girl in the coffee shop who sits there and stares at people, but that seems like the best way to practice on many different people at once. I've been able to see my own aura by focusing on my reflection for a minute or so, so hurray for progress! Also, how long does it take before you start seeing colors in the auras?

All living things have auras. Trees, insects, people etc...
I've only so far managed to see the whitish/grey auras of trees, young and old, but the older ones have stronger energies, and so are easier to see.
Meditation and concentration are the keys...
A simple way I discovered for seeing your own aura, is standing in front of a mirror in a dark room for about five minutes. There you go. It did take a couple of my friends 2-3 days; however they can now see auars clearly on all living things.
how to see auras:
1) open up your third eye chakra if you can, that should aid your progress.
2) hold your finger up against a shadow or other dark surface.
3) relax and focus on the edge of the finger and you should see a slight double image. With time and patients and a bunch of other factors, you should be able to see colors and different layers to your aura, but I have heard that you can only get its true color when you view it against a white surface. Don't know how valid that statement is though

Meaning of Clean Colors of the Aura (colors of the rainbow, bright, shiny, monochromatic colors):
Purple: indicates spiritual thoughts. Purple is never a strong point in the Aura. It appears only as temporary "clouds" and "flames", indicating truly spiritual thoughts.

! I could see auras sence the first time i tried [back in high schoo] but i never realy developed the skill. sence the beginning i could only see black and white but i would love to see other colors. Does anyone know how I can move to the next step?
im electrokinetic... is it possible for me to see whats kinda like an aura for electronic objects?? coz i just looked at the lightss in math n i saw this purple colour emnating from all around it... i seem to be able to see electronics "auras" easier... if they exist anyway...
Dont quote me but i was under the impretion that everything from a book to people have auras, so that just might be what your lookin at. Either that or you should look into a pair of perscription glasses.
