This has been bugging me for a while... There's this place on the way to Phoenix from where I live, and it looks like it could be an electrical-type station. But it has a barbed wire fence around that curves IN on the top. Any ideas why this is? There didn't seem to be anything they'd need to keep IN... I'll see if I can get a picture next time I go to Phoenix. There's probably a reasonable explanation, like they could have installed it wrong, or it could go either way, so I'm probably reading too much into this, but it's weird...

There are many structures on this planet with barbed wire fences around them. They range from warehouses to Zoos. They are in place to keep out vandals and conspiracy theorists.

Like I said, I probably have been reading too many conspiracy theories, but it seems kind of odd that they would put a fence that is supposedly for keeping something in(or so I've read) around something like this...

Sorry I didn't mention that on the first version of the first post there... I hope I'm never suspicious of completely normal looking fences. Lol.

[Added last bit and diagram; geez I'm forgetful tonight...]

I'm actually just looking for a good reason why it ISN'T suspicious, by the way. tongue.gif

try asking a company that installs such things. Investigation may lead you to a good explanation. Try this link:

Yamihimitsuno,

At first this stumped me a bit, but I think I may have one possible non-paranormal solution.

I don't know what the place is, of course, but regardless of that, it sounds like the kind of place bored teenagers might try to explore for kicks, especially if it's out in the boonies. If that's the case, maybe they figured "Well if we put the barbed wire facing in, then those damn kids may still be able to get over the fence to get in, but they won't be able to easily get out and we'll soon have the cops on the situation." (either by the kids having tripped an alarm, a neighbor possibly hearing/seeing a commotion by this electrical station or whatever it is, or just the teens still being corralled in like cattle, come morning). Or even if the kids DID get out, they might not do so in time, prior to the cops arriving. At the very least, they'd tear up their hands and so forth, and would probably think twice before doing it again, or recommending it to their friends.

Anyway, that's my thought. original.gif

It's just how some fences are made. There are tons of places that have the barbed wire part curve inwards.

It's just how it was designed.

[Edit. Again. The heat in Arizona MUST be frying my brain. ]

I feel vaguely idiotic. In fact, I need to install something to keep me from posting on forums when I'm tired.

Thank you for the completely plausible idea, Seahorse.
'Course, it could always be a torture/execution place for the New World Order. tongue.gif
Yes, I'm joking. My brain isn't that fried...

Yamihimitsuno Kuroe,
It is good that you question things. This is how you grow wiser. thumbsup.gif
