This show reminds me much of the amateurism of the wannabe-haiku writers that were born some years after Bashou died. They were a thread to the haiku as a creative genre in poetry. Now, Im not telling you guys are the same as they were, sure do whatever you like to amuse yourself, but I wonder if any of you people know the true spirit and meaning of the haiku. They are not noncese, they are delicat and humoristic verses about nature. Humour filled with melancholy.

The haiku has the characterestics of the first strofe of a RENGA, and so it has a season-connected reference, a reference to the moment of the day, an experience in nature and the emotions that come with it. In a few words there is a deep truth revealed.

I sure read some really funny "haiku's" on this threath, dont get me wrong..
But real haiku's are more than silly little poems.
