like sleeping in my canoe
i shall tip with you

had to write a poem about clouds for school so i did haikus

mystifing clouds
reigning in the sky so high
taking up all space

flying thru the sky
sucking all condensation
tis the time for rain

looking down on us
plotting it's next deadly storm
wiping us all out

working with lighting
destroying the human race
taking back it's place

The other day dear,
You shared a little piece of
You with me. Thank you.

Went to the lake.
Joey caught two little fish.
Small mouth bass, sunfish.

Forgot the sunscreen,
And boy was that dumb!
Sat on dock, got burnt.

played soccer friday
lost the game but we don't care
parking lot and beer

i moved saturday
so hot, sweat stinging my eyes
didn't hurt my back

slept in on sunday
organised my new garage
so many boxes

monday a day off
explored my new world on bike
suburbia, ecchhh!

Did you see the storm.
Started very late last night.
Thunder and lightning.

i did see your storm
but it wasn't in person
watched city tv

Breakfast Television?

nope, channel surfing
late last night, watching the news
lightning in t.o.

fatigue is speading
i am very tired now...
o well i am bored...

Twenty five pages
of UM members haikus
Seem quite excessive

excessive? no way
sir steve earle wrote one a day
for one complete year

haiku's, here to stay
nonsense and lots of word play
twenty five pages, yay!

maybe saruman
could publish UM haikus
if it ever ends

but then, who would buy
frivolous poems by us
relatives only

(it's just he was the inspiration to start this as he wrote 365 haikus in a year, and we've written .....well i'm gonna now check)
