I seem to attract spirits every since I was about 6 years old. At first I just felt and heard them, then in 2000 I was pregnate with my son and I saw my first spirit. My husbands uncle, who died before we met came to see me. We talked just like two live people. I retold the experience to my inlaws describing the man I was talking to and they agreed it was him. I had never seen a picture of him. We named our son after him. Shortly there after I would feel a spirit then they would present themself to me.
One strange incounter. We were living in a house that I felt very uncomfortable. One night I was tired of it and I just yelled out leave me alone I won't hurt you. Then I saw myself out side, I walked in the house (sort of out of body experience since I was still laying in bed) looked into the bedroom and saw two people having intercourse. this seemed to make me angry. I kept with the vision, it took me into the kitchen where there was a gun in one drawer. The out of body me slammed the back door and ran around to the bedroom, where I shattered all six pains of glass with bullets. I could hear the glass shattering it was strange at best. after that the spirit just seemed to leave.
In 2002 my father in law died. Now he follows me and my husband everywhere we move. People see and hear strange things I just call out Darrel behave and it stops.

I used to be a hard core skeptic until strange stuff started happening to me (I posted my storie on another thread I started). None of my experiance have to do with spirits though. Have you ever tried talking to your father in law? What type of strange things happen?

Seriously, spirits attempt to connect to each of us, regardless of whether we experience the connection ourselves. Some of us are more open to it.

When we start to see or feel their interactions, they are aware of it and try harder - and the word spreads. When spirits know you can see/feel/hear them, they will come to you to pass messages. This is how most spiritualist mediums progress.

Okay, I have no experience in this whatsoever. But I just wanted to say that that experience you describe with OBEing and shooting two people having sex sounds like you were reliving someone else's experience. Maybe some ghost that you connected to can't move on because he did that, and is stuck reliving that experience every day. Lame example, but it reminds me of that Peter O'Toole movie "High Spirits", where Darryl Hannah and Liam Neeson relive him murdering her every day. Was it all just an illusion? Were the windows damaged at all after you came out of it?
That sounds like a very unsettling gift, but it's a gift, nonetheless. I suggest you figure out a way to put it to good use! Think of all the poor souls you could put to rest.

Loonboy, how do you know all this?

Moe is glad that Darrel behaves when you tell him to. Moe's spirit does not. Instead he laughs at Moe and throws canned food. Moe always dodges the clam chowder but the spam hits us and make us sad.
His name is Larry tho and not Darrel. One time when Moe was making eggs, he kept putting dirt into the pan. This was not joyful. Dirty eggs do not have a wholesome flavor.
Another time Larry took Moe's wallet and would not give it back untill we ran thru k-mart on our knees and praised Jesus. Running on your kneecaps is not gladsome. Escpecially when Moe bumped into a shelf and lots of meat fell on our head.
Moe yelled " Larry behave!!!" But he only sniggred a mocking chuckle. Then all the workers and shoppers luaghed at Moe too. This made us very sad.

haunted-one61 it is a very good thing, and not something to be afraid of. It means that you're more open and more spiritually attuned - therefore more advanced... celebrate, don't worry.

It's a blessing, not a curse.

Babs, I know a heck of a lot of mediums/psychics/spiritualists and I once had training as a medium. What I spout off about comes from personal experience and that of friends.

To Loonboy: I will try to keep that in mind, and I have tried to look at it that way in the past. Recent bad events are what have me upset and wishing that they would go elsewhere. It's not that I mind the "good" ones that don't leave me feeling scared or threatened in any way, it's the nasty ones I can't handle.

So, when I encounter anything with a good, neutral, or unthreatening feel I guess I do consider it a gift. It's the other ones ..........


To Moe: What would we do without your daily input of humor?

Thanks Loonboy. That was a positive "how do ya know all this?" ....It's because of the many statements you've made that sound so right, things I've never heard of before. You seem to know more about the psychic world and I was wondering what your background was.

How were you trained as a medium?....I'm assuming you are psychic.

After exchanging information and experiencing things first hand, I have realized that all of us that are gifted in the psy. sence, are spirit magnets. People with extra sences have a brighter aura, this also attributes to spirit attraction. These spirits see that we can sence them, so they will seek us out. At one piont in time I was told I was like a "search light in the dark". I believe this is a quality that all gifted people have. After all, these spirits that are still attached to earth somehow are seeking earthly recognition. So, it would do them no good to try and contact a person with no gifts. They of course seek out us, the " searchlights" .

haunted-one61, remember that if you do not want a spirit to communicate with you, protect yourself with white light (there are many ways to do this) and get your guardian spirits/guides to assist you. Tell the spirit to leave - it has to and it will, if you say it with enough belief in yourself.

imorningsun is correct - good auras and open/attuned people do stand out like 'searchlights' in the dark.

Babs, I wouldn't say that I was psychic although I've had moments. I had always been deeply interested in the paranormal and spiritual, and as such, moved in circles with others who were similarly interested.
This then led to me knowing quite a few gifted/attuned/psychic people, who encouraged me to develop, which eventually worked out by my joining a spiritual/mediumship development group a few years back.

What I know comes from my own experiences there, and from their input also. You're always going to get the cynics and that's fine, but once you experience something first hand or have those you trust experience it, you believe it.

To see, one only has to look. To hear, one only has to listen.
Keep an open mind and keep questioning, is my motto.

Thank you all for all the encourageing words. I never really thought of myself as a psycic(sorry cant spell) but I always felt different or special. I was afraid of what people thought, guess I was afraid of being locked up. If anyone has any suggestions I would like to learn how to guide this more. I have had a lot of people in my town ask me to get rid of the spirits in their house and I don't know how to conscously, I seemed to do it when I am faced with a troubling situation. I feel if I am not being harmed there's no reason to vanquish them. they have their reasons for being here.
